Re: SAA 2019

Great showing by all 3 representatives of the SAA who played for the South in the USILA North-South Senior All-Star Game this past Friday. Davis Thompson (midfielder from BSC), Cameron Link (goalie from Rhodes) and Ryan Stubits (FO from Sewanee). Great cap for all three who had outstanding collegiat...

Re: SAA 2019

I think you may be right about Rhodes being 2 tiers away from national prominence, but 4 years ago, this team was ranked 133 RPI. Since then, they have gone 5-2 against Sewanee and completely blanked Berry. Did you see the scores of both semi-final and championship games? Oh, and they have won 2 str...

Re: SAA 2019

Agree with previous post. Rhodes' defense has dominated the SAA for 3 straight seasons and their seniors on that side of the field are stellar. Henry Hasbrouck (#99), Matthew Simon (#26), Austin Le (#15), Noah Daniel (#17)...and goalie Cameron Link (#10...who is having an All-American performance se...

Re: SAA 2019

Sewanee and Rhodes both continue to get better. Rhodes played Denison tough and many positives for them in that game. Denison destroyed Roanoke and Roanoke had their way with Sewanee... Although I did not predict Centre beating Berry, no one should be surprised by this. Berry front-loaded their sche...

Re: SAA 2019

Much anticipation for the Rhodes/Berry game this year. It will be a home game for Berry and they will be motivated. Both teams will have a lot to play for in that game. Interesting fact, Rhodes seniors (and all returning players) have never lost to Berry. Conversely, not a single Berry player has se...

Re: SAA 2019

Great news about Oglethorpe. As SAA gets stronger at the top, hopefully current lower tier programs will benefit from better recruiting and we see over time a more competitive conference. No disrespect to BSC and Centre, but its shaping up to be a 3-way race in 2019 between Rhodes, Berry and Sewanee...
