Re: Young Harris lacrosse
Just reading the above statement above from YHC. The decision has been made and the only thing the fans of the game is to continue to support the continued growth and expansion of the game. I wish Coach Herring best of luck and success in rebuilding the program. The biggest issue is the lack of expe...

Re: Young Harris lacrosse
So an honest question, not tongue in cheek. If new HC Herring has several high level HC telling us what a great recruiter and an overall swell guy. How did they not hire him as an Asst. I don't know if you will hear anyone say "how did I miss a chance to put this person on my staff." I hop...

Re: Young Harris lacrosse
The longer this search goes on the worse YHC AD looks. Do they not have a search committee ? It is becoming plain to see they have a true mess on their hands and they are not handling it well. Get some outside of their own Athletic Dept help in getting this program back on it's feet. I have said it ...

Best wishes to Coach B and his family as they change course, he has done a good job with the Raven's. Several new Coaches in the KCAC in the last few season. I hope they continue to maintain the status as a quality Conference.

Re: Prepare for No NAIA Lacrosse this Spring
I have to believe most NAIA schools are looking to reduce expenses due to the virus and possible negatives results from travel and overnights stays. This year is still a question mark as to if they will play a full season or not. No National Tournament but would still like to see a few of the top te...

Having no Invitation Championship next year, could there be a get together late Spring for a moch NAIA Champion ?

Re: Young Harris lacrosse
IMHO there are tested proven Coaches thru out the NAIA, D-3, D-2 ranks that are always looking to better themselves, or move on for various reasons. How about you get the list of the Coaches that applied and to UAH, Maryville, and YHC. Look to see if there are any current HC's on that list, I'm sure...

Re: Young Harris lacrosse
This problem started long before the current out break. Seems to me the problem started when the 1st Head Coach was let go. That player problem should and could have been resolved with the hire of an experienced Head Coach that could deal with players that want what they want not what is best for th...

Re: 2020 Coaching Carousel
I last saw him as a player, never really meet him, but wish him all the best. The Petrals have a long way to go but over the last 5 - 6 seasons they have made progress. Still a program that needs to get more backing to get competive.

Re: Young Harris lacrosse
Anyone close to the inner workings on a new Coach ? Every week that ticks by with no HC, or staff to work on forming a new team is one that makes the task harder on getting this program back on it's feet. Which it turn only illustrates the problem MAY be further up the food chain, as several posters...

Well anyone with a crystal ball focused on the LMU future ? Not sure whether it would be a good job or not. Is there any insight in the school, AD, or program ?

Re: UAH Men's LAX
All the more reason to pick a school to will remain at if you do not or can not play at. Let's see the roster in Jan. This seasons a HUGH question mark. So, anyone's guess is no more than a "take a chance decision" as to whether there will be a real season or just some games. There will be...

Re: UAH Men's LAX
Agree, start up programs are places to give startup Coaches. Not a program that is ready to take the next step and get that proven experienced HC that has a proven plan. I thought this program was getting near the point of taking that step up. But good luck.

Re: UAH Men's LAX
I'm in the best coach, if you want a good team, camp, not the most convenient one. Sorry Mr Doyle. Saving $$ must be the most important thing on the schools checklist. Not sure I can believe this was the best pick if $$ where not near the top of the list of qualifications. This program can be and we...

Re: Young Harris lacrosse
I think the school need's to make a decision, as to whether they want to just have a team that fulfills some Conference obligation, or they want the Men's Lacrosse team to be a magnet, and for student athletes, and a team that can bring them some National recognition thru lacrosse. I know it is an o...

Re: 2021 Season
Hopefully we have a season, even if is 2020 lite. Fewer games, limited travel, 5th year players vs those that moved on the their chosen careers, making room for unseasoned players. Way to many balls in the air to really make a pick. But one thing for sure, schedules and critical game placements will...

Re: Young Harris lacrosse
Hopefully the AD will seek out a few fellow AD's for a path forward. I agree that an experienced NEW HC is needed, a proven program builder that knows and has shown, that they can build a team. We all know that everyone coming in is going to have to show their commitment the program. No bad blood fr...
