Re: Young Harris lacrosse

While this is bad for the school and the some players, I hope that those that went the "I'LL get a LAWYER" route, learn something. I have been to see games at YHC, nice campus and complex to play on, just sad it came to this end.

2020 Games and Results

Looking at the 1st Conference game of the season in the KCAC #1 vs #2, in Benedictine vs Mo Valley. That will get things moving. Good luck and good weather to both teams. It will have ranking ramifications all season long, but it's a long season. The KCAC is trying to grow but seems they have hit so...

Mars Hill 8, Shorter 6 final.
YHC 17, Catawba 13 I had it as Catawba over YHC. Are the Indians rebuilding or something ?

Re: Who is fully funded?

I doubt you will ever get that nugget of knowledge out of anyone but good luck. Scholarships $$'s come in many forms and fashions. So there are several ways to look at dollars for playing. Pick a school you can be happy with even if you don't play. Remember there are no guarantees in sports.

Re: NAIA LACROSSE TEAMS

So any thoughts on how the Heart of America Conference will shake out. 11 teams I think, top 8 go into a post season tournament. Any read on the new programs.

Re: NAIA LACROSSE TEAMS

Can't argue with the facts, that should put them in the in a good position moving forward. http://www.statesmenathletics.com/article/8255.php roster http://www.statesmenathletics.com/schedule/23/36.php schedule Looking at the WP schedule, the H.O.A. Conference is 10 teams deep. That makes it a littl...

Re: NAIA LACROSSE TEAMS

Has anyone heard or seen any news on the Conference realignment with the KCAC and the Heart of America. Seems there should be something coming out about the new programs, and the H.O.A. conference recognizing lacrosse as a conference sport. If not will there be a group of independent teams or will t...

Re: NAIA job openings

I heard that Clarke MAY have someone lined up, just rumblings. I guess we will see. They lost a lot to graduation, but have a few players left. Hope a new Coach can bring in some talent to get the program up and moving.

Re: GLVC 2019

Great to see the Conference expanding and getting into the post season. With 10 members, counting Quincy and dropping Shorter. Is there any word on the " Southern 4 " becoming the a larger group ? The travel has to be taxing on all the resources, not to mention the players. Sad to see a pr...

Re: Mercer 2019

From these two comments it seems that the Admin. has labeled the program a wash out and is willing to toss the entire program out a second story window. It never fails when a few screw ups act like kids just out from under the parents wings go astray, oh wait that is pretty much what every college k...

Re: 2019 Predictions

Well are there any predictions now, on just how will get their tickets to Grand Rapids ? All the preseason picks have a lose, so it will come down to who REALLY WANTS to leave a legacy behind. Conference tournaments will, as usual, be key. The ups and downs of in season play go out the window. Sure ...

Re: Mercer 2019

Is the issue at Mercer the staff, or the level of support they have to work with. Is the school content with just having a team, or do they want a winner team and will provide the Coach with the tools necessary to reach that goal set by the school and program. I doubt there is a single Head Coach in...

Re: 52-0 when does Sportsmanship start

I would love to see a poll of Head Coaches on this questions. When can you tell you have beaten an opponent ? How many goals ahead is enough ? Have you got a plan to deal with this type of opponent ? Have you talked with the team or at least the team Captains about this type of game ? Have you discu...

Re: 52-0 when does Sportsmanship start

Hey Richard, I can hardly wait for "The Scott Harris " report on this, I can't believe he learned this at such a fine establishment, maybe the guy was out sick the day they covered class and sportsmanship.
Just an elbow TSH, I'm kidding. ;)

Re: 52-0 when does Sportsmanship start

Nosey, thanks for the response, I guess I am reaching out in disgust that there would even be a mention that J&W had anything but good intentions in scheduling and playing this game. Personal and team responsibility always falls on the more senior team, just do the right thing. But thanks again.

Re: NAIA Scoreboard

Lot's of close games and upsets thru out the NAIA, the competition is getting better and better. Madonna, Cumberlands and Mo Valley are leading their Conferences, at least for now. Conference playoffs should be fun to watch and some great games are setting up to be played. Grand Rapids Michigan, and...
