Re: Predict The Next Major Universities To Get DI Lax Programs
Always thrown around, but Boston College might have an opening coming soon. Swim & Dive program made national news last week for a hazing incident. Alums have been pushing for a men's lacrosse program for a while. Wonder if Swim & Dive is cut if men's lacrosse can take their place?

Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
Barring injuries, we don't have a ton of holes to fill, it's a pretty complete team, so the playing time for freshmen might be limited. The guys you should keep an eye on have already been discussed here. One or both of Sorichetti and Chauvette could see time at attack right away. Then there's a st...

Thayer coach Ben Rubeor is apparently done coaching and has moved on to pursue a different career. Best of luck to him and his family, have to wonder who Thayer will look to hire and how they respond this spring. It appeared that they were a young team improving towards the end of last spring after ...

Re: Recruiting, the exact science
it's october 12 and we have the first '25 on the board. fwiw, it looks like he can play. https://twitter.com/tyxanders/status/1579922801162870784?t=gD_B5fgcT9cGml3GyJv7jA&s=19 and here we are. He is re-class. Could be the UVA is stacking so many higher stars that he going the PG route to try an...

Understand two transfers are coming into the program for the upcoming season. Pierce Gregory from Bryant will be a Soph, plays attack. He's from Dover, MA. Patrick Yowan a goalie will also be a Soph. this season. He's from Darien, CT and played his high school lax at Choate. Yowan could step right ...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2023
We were all excited when Jr was hired. As to who replaces him, lord knows. Plenty of the so far brought up names seem just fine if they have an interest, one particular thing of note for Milliman I suppose is he does presumably have a positive experience working with a fairly young coach in Buczek,...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
Am I missing something on Handley? Is he in the portal or is this just a hypothetical? Hypothetical, but he can't play at Penn next year and he isn't being discussed as a PLL draft pick so the assumption is he's going to play college lacrosse somewhere next season, just hasn't officially entered th...

Re: Cornell 2022
Wasn't it mentioned earlier on this thread that Cappelmann is PG'ing to be a 2022? I don't think so. Maybe in a different thread. This is the only mention I see about him within the D1 Men's Forum: https://fanlax.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=163687#p163687. Bottomline, curious to see where he lands. L...

Rutgers 2022 roster is up with transfers and incoming freshman listed. Noticed Cameron missing, pray no snags . No 2022 schedule yet, RU always late putting it out. Last regular schedule for 2020 wasn't announced until mid December. Eager to see which ooc opponents are back on. Cameron will enroll ...

Re: Denver 2022
Just saw on the Denver roster that Reed Babcock was no longer listed. Thought he had a chance to be a break out player this year and fill that Austin French/Logan Bobzien roll with the Pio's. Anyone like Lampert as a meaningful contributor? His brother Jimmy spent 5yrs w Hobart wasn’t much recruite...

He is absolutely in over his head. He is reaping the benefits of Lyndon’s recruiting. In 2-3 years when he has his own kids in there and the momentum has slowed Really? So Pynchon is feeling the fruits of his “recruiting”? Was Lyndon really out on the recruiting trail, visiting homes at BCHS promis...

Re: Transfer Portal 2022
Scanlan nearly went to UVA too. According to IL, Virginia was at one point the "front-runner" to land him. Who knows what other players Tiffany went after, only for them to choose a different destination. The Hoos clearly didn't need any more help this year, but I don't think we should as...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
Zinn was just starting to get more comfortable in his new role toward the end of the year. The kid is a one man clear when he wants to be and a transition opportunity waiting to happen every time the ball is in his stick. I’d expect him to pick up where he left off there. Brunner is also in the por...

Re: NESCAC 2020
Whatever the motivations and mechanics of how it works, there's potential (just like everywhere else in college lacrosse I guess) for some very loaded teams over the next four years. One 2020 high school grad who I definitely thought was D1 caliber I've now seen listed as a Middlebury 2025. With tw...

One of UNC’s best players is literally in the portal right now to transfer next year. I’m not saying Johnson is the exact situation but it could be. as mentioned above, he could be in there to explore his options while still being at Carolina for the length of this season and committed to the team ...
