Re: Maryland 2024
Congrats to the Terps and good luck next week. Since no one mentioned him, I just wanted to recognize redshirt Freshman George Stamos #54 who is playing more and more often at d mid. The Terps will have him for 3 more years and he'll be a leader for most of that time. A great young man. Stamos has ...

Re: ivy league 2024
Same as it ever was. Cupcake League. yawn Haha we’ve found the ball-gargler! Fun fact - did you know your dusty Ivy league rep got manhandled by UMD twice and Duke, the only real teams they played all year? I guess you can brag about how you beat a dusty old historically crappy UNC team. BYE BYE. T...

On a second note, the change in leadership at Cornell could be positive for athletics.

Re: Cornell 2024
How about this idea for the future: the regular season Ivy champ receives the AQ. The tournament is still held for the sole purpose of enhancing the RPI and SOS of the other teams for possible at large bids. The weight should be on who is the best in a 6 game schedule, not who finishes in the top 4 ...

Re: Cornell 2024
At times like this, I wish the NCAA tournament participants were chosen based upon a formula combining RPI and SOS in some fashion with no regard to conference and with no AQs. Potentially sitting at home watching some unranked teams getting in over the Big Red because they win a weak league will b...

Re: Cornell 2024
If we are upset tomorrow we must not have Michigan beat the only potential AQ (PSU) ahead of us. Losing tomorrow makes the teams directly behind us dangerous to take our At Large. The game I am most perplexed about is Yale/Princeton. If Yale wins we should not need to worry about them but could Yal...

Re: Cornell 2024
Of the 8 teams ahead of us, only one (PSU) can get an AQ. What about the ACC: ND, Syracuse, VA, & Duke? Don't have the requisite 6 teams to get an AQ. It's admittedly a bit of an oddity because all of those teams are safely in. Ah. Thanks! BTW, I'm not sure how, but LacrosseReference has us &qu...

OK I'll concede that it isn't "private" that Ben doesn't know why he was relieved of duty. Does that tell you why he was relieved of duty? LOL! Well, color me skeptical. Ben was fired mid-contract. I simply don't believe he didn't know why he was fired. But knows the game and can produce ...

People who post here and think they have the right to know about private personnel matters as well as the medical condition of a player (another issue) are mistaken. I mean, not really a "private personnel matter." The termination of a very successful head coach mere months before a highl...
