Re: UNC vs UVA 3-11-21
Nothin like an ACC match up in Charlottesville at night to get the ball rolling. I liked what I saw from UNC, but boy did UVA look sloppy. They only shot overhand twice, and the passing was equally unsuccessful. Beyond poor execution, there were just a boatload of bad passing decisions.

Re: Mount St. Mary's 2021
I've really enjoyed watching the NEC Front Row broadcasts in Emmitsburg, I'd just like to see the Mount start winning! They pass the eye test this year in ways that they have not in the past. It's an athletic team with good size, and I'm just waiting to see them string some wins together.

Re: UNC 2021
In these opening weeks of the season, Connor Maher has really stood out as a special player. For my money, there's not a better D-middie in the country right now. 20gbs already.

Way too many poor choices made by the Orange against Army to think they could hang with Virginia tomorrow. Looked pretty low-energy too.

Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
How many touches has even Cole had, my lord, and the shot selection is a mystery. There is definite improvement form the first half, but need to value those emotional possessions.

Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Been enjoying the Hop social media game lately. Looks like they've got a Phantom now and that makes for some instantly great content. Can't believe we've been without Koesterer's energy for so long! The coaching staff bios, when you look at them all together, sure are a potpourri of 'outsiders'. It'...

Re: Is a 2021 season going to happen?
Everything is real, nothing is fake. Fake news has real consequence. I live in a place that is by its nature socially distanced. No one wears masks at the store or anywhere. If you are wearing a mask, you are most likely a tourist. Yet, several family members live in Brooklyn and Manhattan and they ...

Rayland Baxter? Caught him on a station out of my old haunting grounds, Macon, GA, and liked him enough to start asking question and finding more materials. Laxbro?! YES. Loyola: Yowzwers, this is getting good! Jerry's? Are you kidding!

Furman to end it’s lacrosse and baseball teams. Notre Dame announces it will open campus in the fall with a revised semester calendar: Starts Aug. 10, will not have a fall break and will end before Thanksgiving. Syracuse coaches took a pay cut. Believe it was 10% Will the other fall sports play? So...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Grant had a virtual meeting with his new players on Monday night, but had to make a quick stop at a local apparel store first. “I snuck out today, put on my mask and bought a Johns Hopkins hat,” Grant Jr. said while referencing a recent trip to the store. “I wanted to have it for my call with the g...

Scott Smith is absolutely electric. Put him on the field immediately. What's up with hime being listed as an attackman at times?

Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
I've never met Rabil, I only know what I see on social media, so my criticism is not directed at him as a person at all. But, the persona and image that the Rabil/Harrison/PLL camp puts out there is, imo, the absolute worst thing to happen to Hopkins lacrosse. Everything is cringe inducing peddling....

Saw the Rabil thing on IL. "Fanless PLL" doesn't strike anyone else as an oxymoron?
In regards to Morrill, he's graduating from Yale and pursuing a grad degree at Denver, correct? I was just watching his dad play Cuse last night.

Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Koesterer checks a lot of boxes but I wonder if he'd even consider it—he played for Petro for four years and then coached with him for a few more. He likely owes a lot to the guy. Out of a sense of loyalty he might not want to be a part of the new regime. Though I suppose you're going to run into t...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Rutgers gets a ton of $$$ as part of the b1g. I don't feel bad for them. They're a rare affordable school in one of the most populous regions of the country, lot to sell there w kids who can get an affordable b1g education and stay home. Yesterdays press conference was pretty soft (still can't beli...
