Re: UAH Men's LAX

It appears that Covid 19 is wreaking havoc in the college sports programs. No matter what even the established programs are under pressure, as well as, financial scrutiny. The low hanging decisions are rising to the top, and even established programs like Mercer just lost their HC. It is hard to fi...

Re: Financial Health of D2 Schools

The DII Conference Commissioners Assoc has submitted a motion to NCAA DII, to limit the game maximums for the upcoming 20-21 season. The motion would reduce the max number of games that a team could play in a regular season. All sports would be impacted. Men's lacrosse would change from 17 to 13. I...

Re: Lacrosse cancelled because of Coronavirus??

Patriot League cancelled their season and MLS has postponed their season. I see no path for D2 lacrosse to have a complete season.

I was wondering how much of an impact that would have on their schedule. Obviously we’ll never know for certain.

Re: New programs

Seems like a huge lost opportunity for Conference Carolinas. They need to find some traction soon if they want to remain relevant. What do you mean with this statement? Sure, here is the way I see it: From a lacrosse perspective Conf Carolinas is Limestone, Belmont Abbey and Mount Olive. North Gree...

Re: New programs

I just heard that Anderson University (SC) will start a new program for the 2020-2021 year. They play in SAC and have already hired Albert Mitchell from D1 UMass Lowell as HC. Seems like a huge lost opportunity for Conference Carolinas. They need to find some traction soon if they want to remain re...

I think the records speak volumes here. Saints at home notch a solid (high single-digit) win.

Re: Preview of South Quarterfinal - Abbey/Indy

Understanding the projections are computer generated, it seems difficult to consider the Crusaders an underdog considering their prior victory, the fact that the game is at home and taking into consideration Indy will be playing their third tough game (in 3 different states) within a 7 day period. I...

LW, never heard of that site, sounds interesting. I googled the name and couldn't find anything. Can you verify the name or provide a link? Thanks!

When will we know the time for the selection show (or have they already released the info)? I assume it is webcast on the NCAA website?

Re: 4/24/19 Regional Rankings

Does Limestone has a lock on #1 in south regardless of outcome of Saturdays game vs uIndy? [/quote] I think yes. Stone's SOS and their results against top opponents are stronger than Indy's. Despite a likely lock for the Saints, it's hard to imagine they will slack off on the game and forego the opp...

Sunday should be a great game. More importantly the wins for both teams should have locked them each a 1st round bye and a home game for NCAA.
