Re: 2024 top 20

Basic question - when folks talk about RPI or a certain school has "5 top 10 RPI wins" - the RPI that matters for ALL is end of year RPI, not what they were when played, correct?

Re: Transfer Portal 2024

Zawada to Duke NC native, good for him. Will they run him at attack and bump Mcadorey back to middie? Or, is Zawada inserted into the midfield from day one? Crowded attack room. Zawada, McAdorey, and ONeill can all dodge from up top. I would assume McAdorey is headed back to middie, there's no othe...

Raise your hand if you had "Can Michigan upset Duke in a second round NCAA Tourney game" on your bingo card of 2023 lax forum topics.

Clearing game needs serious help, again.
This team is honestly not that far away.
Just needs to stop shooting itself in the foot.

Hopkins is ranked 8th. I think people know they are good.

Re: Michigan 2023

You make some good points. I am just hoping for the best, but not predicting much of anything now. I am as well, believe it or not. I want to see them do well. Praying for a W in conference play, would be amazed to get 2... I think the allure of UM as a school sells itself. I am sad the lacrosse pr...

Re: Michigan 2023

Per Michigan twitter ᴇxᴛᴇɴᴅᴇᴅ Our program is thrilled to announce that head coach @CoachConry has inked a multi-year contract extension! Wonder what that contract says? If one or both assistants leave (and to be realistic, it seems like that will happen only if they get the jobs they are rumored to...

Re: Big Ten 2023

Bracket UMD 2-5 Mich Personally I think it’s 2. Rutgers 3/4. Hop/PSU 5. OSU At the risk of being ridiculed, I think Michigan will be closer to the "OSU of 2023" (team everyone ignored preseason but turned out to be pretty decent) than the bottom of the B1G. They should have everyone back....

Re: Transfer Portal 2023

Because if you're a 1st Team AA Penn grad looking to get a bogus one-year "management" degree, places like Duke and UVA (or Notre Dame, whatever) are way more attractive than Rutgers, no matter how well Rutgers is doing this year. I have a question that's probably going to sound facetious...

Re: Coaching Hot Seats

It’s already common knowledge his contract is up. What’s your point then? That this thread is silly? Sure. Well, kinda. More interested in who are realistic possibilities to take over. Because if his contract is up and he hasn't been extended then it's only a matter of time, no? Would rather hear t...

Re: Coaching Hot Seats

Again you cherry pick from my quote but ignore the concept of dynamic model and place 100% of the value on 2-3 variables or just the coach. Put all the prices together and you can’t guarantee any bette results. Just pure speculation. But we know coaches can be dilutive so what if they replaced Conr...

Re: Michigan 2022

Wolverines were never in the game. They did not start as poorly but still struggled to score until it was too late. Buckeyes looked strong. I bet they give Rutgers a real problem. It was 7-6 at half - they were in the game. But once again, their biggest problems cost them a chance: failure to adjus...

Re: Michigan 2022

Yes, but most of those coaches at least led their programs to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances in earlier years. Nope, it isn’t time to think about a coaching-change in Ann Arbor yet. But if much more time goes by and Michigan isn’t at least on the bubble come Selection Sunday, it will be. I pi...

They got the W today but I think the first 3 quarters today showed MD is a very beatable team Lol. Re: Big Ten 2022

"Is this to say there isn't one kid at Hopkins who has a government sponsored loan?" To be clear, this is a program for undergraduates. If student needs funds, they apply and according to their means the University makes a grant, which presumably pays for everything the student cannot pay...
