Re: Week One - 2024
What I learned from today is that I'm pretty good at drafting, but not good at deciding when to drop players. I guess that's part of drafting too.

Re: Syracuse 2024
I didn't see the game, but I expect UMD to make the semis this year, so an OT loss doesn't feel too bad.

Re: OuttaNowhereWregget--Redux
I'd agree that big collisions almost always result in a foul being called, one way or another. As it should be. Wlax isn't supposed to be a collision sport. On quick review of the rules, here are two I found that are applicable: Rule 6, Section 3. a. Blocking/Illegal Pick: 1. Moving into the path o...

Re: Programs Winning National Titles One Year After Heartbreaking, One-Goal NCAA Tournament Losses
The numbers would be worse, if I had all the teams that lost tight games late in the tournament. Just last year you had Delaware, PSU, Army, Cornell, Virginia, Princeton, and Maryland lose 1 goal games in the tournament. And if I were a betting man I would put money - GOOD MONEY - on the odds again...

Re: OuttaNowhereWregget--Redux
Clearly a moving pick that was a missed call. Scane is moving prior to any contact by the defender. Does the reader base of a women's lacrosse forum really not know that there's no such thing as a "moving pick" in women's lacrosse? There's no such foul. The picker is allowed to be moving ...

Re: Brick Wall Pick set by Izzy Scane
Interesting to observe Scane's ambivalence about the pick in the aftermath as she relates her thoughts to Coykendall. On the defenders part--gotta keep your eyes open. (I wonder if any of her teammates gave her a heads up in the seconds beforehand.) That's Cheryl Miller for levity at the end. Big s...

I was mostly just making conversation. Like Matt said, let's see what Penn does this weekend.harrisoncoburn wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 9:48 am That is how he was listed on the roster I inherited and Penn hasn't played yet this season.
