Re: Here we go again with the Face Off
Just a guess, but anyone else think fiddling with the faceoff is more a TV thing then a sport thing? I have talked to enough non lax people who have watched games of TV. The face off seem to be the thing they have most trouble understanding, When 1 team dominates they think it gets to be it unfair. ...

Re: Where Would Petro Fit Best?
Man a lot of haters, which usually means the person is successful, no one tends to hate on the less successful. He seems to be loved by his players, even with that voice and presence, which makes me chuckle when I think about the F bomb during the televised Princeton game. https://www.uslaxmagazine....

Where Would Petro Fit Best?
Just speculating, any guesses where Petro might end up or where he be a good fit. Ads would be silly not to consider him. He has national Titles and has consistently brought in top 10 recruiting classes. I am sure some of it is the allure of John Hopkins, but it also had to be him. Put him in the AC...

Re: Ivy League 2020
I have a question about Sowers, did he already withdraw from Princeton? If so can he can back in and get his degree from Princeton or will it be from anther school? I'd think a Princeton degree with a masters somewhere else be a much better play no that the Ivy has made the call about seniors

Re: Ramifications Extra Year of Eligibility
Schools also will have the ability to use the NCAA’s Student Assistance Fund to pay for scholarships for students who take advantage of the additional eligibility flexibility in 2020-21. Lets not forget the money factor, they are only allowing extra money next season, after that it is back to norma...

Next years players Freshman 4 years of eligibility. Soph 3 years to graduate and Does he stay his 4th year of eligibility. Maybe call them Blueshirt Soph/Junior/Senior instead of Red ? Junior 2 years to graduate and Does he stay his 3rd year of eligibility. Senior 1 year to graduate and Dose he sta...

So IL finally chimed in https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/more-questions-than-answers-for-eligibility-and-potential-longterm-consequences/56177 I have spoken to a few coaches, my impression is they are waiting for more direction from the NCAA. They are in the dark as to what it means and waitin...

Re: 2020 NCAA Lacrosse is done
The NCAA should seriously consider allowing seniors who were on rosters of 2020 spring teams to play in 2021 (even if they have graduated) without having to be enrolled as full time students. At least at the D3 level people aren't going to pay for another school year (a few might enroll in grad sch...

Pro N Cons Another Season Senior Eligibilty
Saw a friend's post on FB about giving Seniors another year of Eligibility. He is kind of swaying me against it. His reasoning is if you give seniors and extra year, you should give it to Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors otherwise you are potentially making it harder for them to get a chance to shin...

Re: School Closings
Read an article this morning, swayed me to accept the season probably over. CoVid-19 virus is much more contagious virus then the common flu by a very high factor. Meaning many more people will get it, while for most of us it will not be that bad, the concern is the 20% that do have problems. They c...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2020
So what is the hook for recruits to Hopkins, after you take away the Amazing Lacrosse Tradition. What pushes a recruit to your school. It used to be a badge of honor for a high school player to get an inquring letter. I am sure Tramboni, is showing kids all the bells and whistle of a Big Ten Athleti...

Re: Centennial Conference 2020
I'd say right now its a 3 horse race ( Ursinus, Gettysburg and F&M ) going into the first turn. Ursinus seems to be have maintained last year's effort and filed in the holes lost to graduation but there is still a lot of race to go.

Re: Centennial Conference 2020
Why should I buy stock in F & M, the win against a struggling W&L doesn't give them the edge over Ursinus or Gettysburg schedule yet. Dickinson played the National Champion Cabrini got there butts handed to them. but that's a good learning lesson, what's has F & M done so far? ( side not...

Going to the the Ursinus game tomorrow picking them by 4
Following Cabrini, picking by 10, Dickinson can't score without the ball which I hear is a problem.
