Re: NESCAC
Been a coach and teacher for 30+ years. The best way to extinguish poor behavior is to ignore it. If you guys would't respond the dopes would eventually leave. Good luck to the NESCAC teams.

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
The negativity is unfortunate. No coach wants to lose - choose a college based on your best research and what your goals are. The negative posts are disturbing and unwarranted.

Re: CLC 2024
The comment was regarding SMCM - since they are not in the CLC I'm not sure who has the reading comprehension issue.

Re: CLC 2024
Did a little research on your "better than all but 4 conferences" The SMCM conference has 2 teams with a winning record(SMCM is at the top, ranked 66 with a couple of brutal losses. The rest of the league is ranked in the low 200's. You may want to rethink that post. That conference is goi...

Mea Culpa - thought Stevie would pull this one out. York put it together - Cantabena out coached and outplayed.
Solid YCP dub. Congrats!

Re: Salisbury 2024
Gulls dismantle SMCM. Hawks not ready for prime time. Unfortunate they joined such a low-level league. Gulls gearing up for the third season.

Re: Salisbury 2024
A few thoughts on the Gulls. For good or bad: They play to the level of their competition. Winning comfortably, really not blowing anyone out. They are virtually better position by position than everyone they play. They are a team of individuals. 1v1 defense is steller, team, and transition defense ...

Re: Washington College 2024
That's a great take - Salisbury is 30 minutes from the beach, has a pretty cool downtown, and is a solid D3 college town. School is academically highly ranked. Purdue Business School is top notch as is the Henson science school. Teams in decline usually try and knock other schools rather than spread...

Re: NESCAC
Kind of shocked that a team that lives by the zone lost to a team that played a zone.
Tarnow NESCAC COY! Salisbury roots run deep.

Re: York 2024
LAJ - you have good insight and statistical analysis. The eye test says SU is playing better than YCP. Definitely a 1 bid league. With all of the parity, why take a mediocre team that didn't win the league? I'll look back - does either team really have a significant W?

Re: North vs South
NJ is definitely in the North, probably PA as well.
MD/Virginia and below is South.
You can't really include the Ohio teams and those West in either.

Re: Salisbury 2024
The list of outstanding players who have put on the Maroon and Gold is long and distinguished. From the 94-95 era, I would add McQueeney(3x first team, 3x defensemen of the year) and Jake Bergey(3x first team and 95 Midfielder of the year). Mike Esham(3x first team defensemen), and Kevin Hohner(2x A...

Re: Salisbury 2024
I think I have ok perspective - I've watched most of Salisbury's games over the past years, missing a handful. I typically watch 3-4 D3 games a week along with a number of D1 and occasionally a high-ranked D2 game each week. As it relates to Jack Boyden that another poster brought up - this was his ...
