Looks like the Potomac School showed their depth and strength with two lopsided wins vs Oakton and Dominion. The third game had Dominion over Oakton 12-6.

The best VA public goalies play in 20165 (P Falls and DOM). The Riverside goalie is not that far behind.

This is the perfect spot to discuss coaching changes as well. Don’t know everything that happened at WP, but know there were issues. VC has a track record of success but his recent stays have been short-lived. Not to worry, I hear the Lake Badluck job is open as well. Could it be another off-season...

As Freedom starts their path to a three-peat, it looks like they have the former Herndon coach leading their way. Tough games against an injured Dominion and Riverside though.

Those are two good teams, and too bad that the Riverside team has moved up to 5A. Just want to throw out there that Freedom is going for a 3-peat, and while they lost some good players, they have some very strong 9th graders. Don't sleep on them. No one ever picks them to win, and here they are goin...

BI took down Dominion by 2. Had the game in hand the entire way. No surprise. Both teams won all there games leading up to the final. Flint Hill had some extra fire power on their team with a couple BI players, as other Metro travel girls. They crushed their way through group play into the finals. A surprising final saw Dominion beat Flint Hill by an unexpected large margin.

We saw Dominion scrimmage Langley last March. Game was tied 6-6 at half . Langley depth carried the 2nd half. Capital teammates on both sides and different years. Will have to travel to Dominion to see the scrimmage this year.

*** Battlefield at Herndon next Monday 3/25 in a game between two undefeated teams may be the best early match up of the season.....any thought on potential score? NOW Fall Ball is done. 5A state champ Freedom looked dominant against P Falls. Dominion won back-to-back games via large margins against Oakton and the host team.
