Re: Towson 2023
Towson was fun to watch, and congrats on excellent season. Congrats as well to Cuse for winning. If towson could upgrade their D next year, would be super interesting team to contend with.

Re: #1 Notre Dame vs Albany Sunday @ 5
I wonder if this game hurts Entrnmann and his Twaaraton chances..40% on the day He's been great this year as usual, but he's living off his rep in awards season. Emmett Carroll was indisputably head and shoulders better than him this year. Fracyon too IMO. Entenmann is a first team AA talent and th...

Re: TV Broadcasts/Announcers/Production
I'm 'a huge fan of Joe B and Matt Ward. Great combo, both excellent, neither shrill. Also like Dixon, and Boyle. Carc/QK - i just don't see conference/team bias that other folks see. Carc tends to be always over the top - whoever just scored, saved a goal, won a game is the best, etc..... , QK - unl...

Real defensive clinic.... Wonder if Cuse switches goalies. Down 1, despite winning 70% of FOs.

Horrific first half, worst in memory. Can't repeat the same as tourney is now down to quality teams.

Re: ivy league 2024
Exactly. I had the same reaction to the ND "snub" in 2022. It doesn't matter how many 5 stars recruits you have on the roster, or that you won your last three games. The entire season matters. Every game. Win more games and you will make the tournament. I wouldn't change that. It can't be...

Wonder how Breschi feels watching that after scapegoating the most accomplished OC of all time to save his own hide. Great game pios. Really interesting take on Breschi, hadn't thought of it during game, thanks..Denver looked great, and speaking for myself, need to watch them more frequently during...

Re: Tewaaraton Award 2024
Kavanagh is going to win the award if ND - as I think most of us expect - wins the tourney, and, to quote William Munny, "deserve's got nothing to do with it." On a more general topic, I do think Yale would benefit from toughening up their OOC schedule a bit, assuming anyone wants to play...

Re: Tewaaraton Award 2024
Not knocking Brandau in any way - exceptional player with a historic year given injuries at Yale , and I'm not even suggesting Kav should win the award. but my issue with PPG as determining factor is it can't factor in opponents. Past nine games for each team: Yale: Princeton (2), Albany, Hofstra, D...

Interesting to compare thoughts on the '15. Didn't mean to imply Landis had him on '14. While 1 and 3 isn't nothing, given how much the ball went through him, especially in latter part of game, i honestly thought Landis won that matchup. Two great players, was super fun to watch that matchup.

Re: Tewaaraton Award 2024
Fairly or unfairly, doubt it will go to guy whose team out of tourney. I see the case for all five - and,I'd add Kirst. What is your case for ONeil? He was great in 8th grade or he was MVP of the world games that 10 college teams could win? Or because Carc says he’s the best lol Lorin: you're right...

Makes me recall the great 2014 / 2015 match ups. Landis v Thompson - (and Landis 'won' that matchup) was one for the ages.
This one wont' be close.

Re: 2024 Bracketology
I'm not suggesting scoring margin alone solves the issue of ranking teams who ultimately don't play common schedule. However, truly am amazed by anyone who thinks that winning (or losing) by 10 is the same (i.e, provides same insight into respective rankings of teams) as winning (or losing) by one. ...

Re: 2024 Bracketology
One other small point. Losses to teams outside the Top 20 are deemed 'bad'. But getting blown out by 10 to a Top 20 team is not bad?

Re: 2024 Bracketology
Appreciate the good comments about scoring margin incentivizing teams to run it up, but, to me scoring margin matters alot. Seperating teams via RPI , how many 'good wins', etc is helpful, but, not every win - or loss - is the same. 5 or 10 goal margins tell us something more so than an OT game - wi...

Re: ivy league 2024
Tbh I don't think they Ivy's were snubbed this year just as I didn't think the ACC teams were snubbed in 2022. The RPI system isn't perfect, but it's the best we've come up with at the moment and all the teams know the system going in. The Ivy's had some great OOC wins, but a few too many that they...
