Re: Games Today
If anyone's been trying to pull up the replay of the Cuse-Loyola game like I have been since yesterday, give it up, there's some sort of glitch and it aint gonna happen. Called ESPN, spoke with Chad, a very nice and helpful young man, and while he didn't know what happened he said this kind of thin...

tRump selling bibles for $50 even though they are available for free online. You have to wonder ~ who is the bigger fool: tRump or those who believe in his MAGA idiocy? If it helps brings more people to Christ, is that not a good thing? Oh, the tragedy.... That's not really the point though ...

Re: OuttaNowhereWregget--Redux
So Syracuse plays no one until Thursday, April 18th when they scale The Heights to face their arch nemesis. A nifty 5pm start time on ESPNU. Emma Ward noted on her recent visit to The Meg Show--"They've had our number." Indeed they have, four times in a row since that fateful day in late ...

Enter the Cuse D, they had 10 CTs...pretty much negates that DC advantage for the Hounds.Seacoaster(1) wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 8:54 amAnd the draw advantage, in any case, kept Loyola in this game.
That group can be mighty tough to deal with.

Re: Games Today
Pretty funny to once again hear her father’s signature birdcall whistle on the television. Knew nothing about this, figured there was some sort of connection going on with that call though. He's good at it, loud and clear, she hears that every time. Pretty cool. Cuse D just blows me away, they can ...

Re: Games Today
I think an assist should be given to the person who passed the ball to a player who then gets a Free Position Shot and scores. Thoughts on this? I said this years ago when I first came around to wlax. Girl throws a sweet pass, the receiver of it can't take the shot because of dangerous shot/shootin...

Re: Hobart 2024
I think you're mistaken 'Bart. What you're saying is the OOB and end lines were where the track begins. I wholeheartedly believe there was grass between the side and end lines and the track which was mowed while the field wasn't. It was like a clear message to Cuse of we're going to stick it in you...

Re: BU-Duke moved to Noon EST
Lightning delay now, one goal game in the third, think it was 9-8 Duke.
Mighty sloppy conditions.
Heading to the Dome shortly to watch the Cuse girls play Loyola (coming in
undefeated). Not gonna bring my umbrella, gonna be nice in there.

Re: Hobart 2024
In case anyone is still interested in the “what happened with the first quarter non goal”. It was a goal, however there was a second ball on the outside of the net and when the refs looked, they assumed that was the ball. The game ball went in the back of the net on a bounce shot. If you watch the ...

Big Red walk out with the win 15-13, take control in the last few minutes, get a little help from the Gate girls.
Good game.

Re: Games Today
Gate D clamping down in the 3rd. Back to back shot clock violations on the Red, their next possession ends with a cto that results in a FPS goal for Gate. Red GK making some nice saves.
11-11, end of 3.

Re: Games Today
Redettes come out with some high kickin' in the 2nd, go up 9-4 then get a phantom goal for their tenth. Commentator's description is it hit the GK's stick, then the crossbar, then the right pipe (looking at the cage), ball ends up out of the goal in the crease. Big review, goal is good....don't know...

Big Redettes come out and jump all over the Gate girls, 3-0.
Just for awhile though, 4-4, end of one.

Re: Hobart 2024
It's really no big deal. Laxg', initially I was just agreeing with soothi in that it's tough recruiting up here because of conditions. It just got a little ridiculous from there on out.
I'm all done.

Re: Hobart 2024
Probably not, I'm going back to the 60s, 70s, and early 80s....the old Boz, where Stock Buck, Andy Boyer, and AtoZ played.
My HS coach, Jack McDonald, had Stock and Andy come to our HS practice one day, I thought they were gods. Was good stuff.
