Down v Liberty league this year it seems clear so far.

Re: Johns Hopkins 2024

Crazy thing about Kohn is that he didn’t even play lax at Tufts until his junior year. He went there for hockey and played that all three years (one cancelled for COVID), captain senior year. Came out for lax as a junior. Agree, but he was going to play lacrosse freshman year (2020), but hurt his k...

Re: NESCAC

The reason I ask about zone is that Wes has been historically a defensive team which has been the key to their success over the years. Get a great goalie like Otto B who can consistently stop the 20 yard shot, play zone, and let my keeper get 15 - 20 saves a game so that we can win 12 - 10, As long...

Boyden averaging 3 pt a game, and is UVA’s #1 middie. Kohn might be 1st Team AA.
I am HUGE Mason Kohn fan, but Laliberte from Bryant is the best I have seen this year.

At least maybe out of the basement. I don't think Colby has won a Nescac game in the last 4 seasons except v Bates (I could be wrong, not going to look). That is a huge win esp. as some of our esteemed fellow posters had CC ranked pretty high.

After Tufts, Bowdoin, Midd, what would your ranking be?

I know this is a lacrosse board but the Dartmouth basketball union saga is quite something. Re: CNU 2024

if these to teams meat agin in a neutral site, or even at CNU, i would expect different results. Yes, I think everyone's take away from last night’s matchup is that if these teams meet again on a neutral field CNU will win. Is that sarcasm? Lets face it. CNU got their butts handed to them last nigh...

Re: NESCAC

Middlebury in 2022, 21-14 Prior to that, Wes in 2019 regular season and Amherst in 2019 NCAA Last year was the first year that they had an undefeated regular season. Most years, they drop at least 1 game in the NESCAC which turns out to be blessing because they usually lose when they are complacent...

Re: CNU 2024

and where did they travel last year? or this year. just saying that tufts has the upper hand when they are home mid week, and other teams are having to fly up to play them. don’t get me wrong. tufts was the better team last night. cnu is having a hard time getting the season started. if these to te...

Re: NESCAC

Great take - and I join you in admitting to a wait and see posture. But we had two, top-10 matchups last night. One team clearly got up for the moment, and the other did not. Tufts convincingly proved they're the favorite in the league. And two games in - Bowdoin looks a lot closer to catching them...

Re: CNU 2024

I understand making a tough schedule but why would CNU agree to a tough game against a momentum driven team that’s 10 HOURS AWAY. ON A WEDNESDAY. Recipe for disaster i agree with this. lynchburg did this last year. you will never see a team like tufts, scheduled tough game on the road south of MD i...

Re: NESCAC

A few thoughts on the Wednesday games before this weekend: -Tufts: Wowzers. They are looking to continue their overall dominance. Not a 'bos fan, but it's hard to deny they seem to always find a way...except maybe against those gulls. For the record,Tufts is 3-3 all time v Gulls, w/the last win in ...

Re: CNU 2024

Aside from that, holy cow, CNU might be the most overrated team I’ve ever seen. They do not have a player of the year at any position. That is a team that would struggle for a home game in the Liberty or NESCAC playoffs. Are they Top-20, yes, Top-5, no way. Tufts pulled their starters before the 4t...

Re: CNU 2024

AA goalies don’t get pulled for freshman especially as a 6th year. This performance needs to be remembered when they give CNU more awards then any other team in the country and can’t come close to having those players perform in a game that is against programs of their talent. Young is getting beat...

That was impressive. Are you talking about the Jumbos or RPI comeback against Middlebury? RPI. That was something. Are Middlebury and Bowdoin still the best teams now… They never were. Just a bunch of hype and avoiding tough OOC. When they can’t duck tough OOC they fold like a cheap suit. … Midd co...

Re: NESCAC

Not sure how telling this game will be for either team as the forecast currently calls for 1-2 inches of rain. :| It will be a Tufts win. I've seen plenty of highy touted teams come to Bello or play Tufts from the South (which means south of the PA/NY line, ex-Salisbury of course) over the last few...
