They are. July 1st is actually the official day for both them and Queens with the start of the new fiscal year.

Re: Transfer Portal 2023

In having watched my share of NEC play the name Lacey doesn’t ring a bell even though he was 1st team all league (on a 1 win team last year) but good size and nice GB/CT stats. I will say the way SHU collects stats for their home games is a super super joke. But even if you cut it by like 20% is st...

UGA
UGA actually had a varsity program back in the '20s as did GaTech. Wasn't for long though. Would love to see those two re-add, especially considering how lacrosse has grown in the Atlanta area.

Short answer, No. While certainly lacrosse is maybe the one sort where it is most bound to happen, still can't see it.

Re: Hobart 2022

The addition of Albany and Lehigh to the schedule is in the podcast. Throw in Syracuse, Cornell & Colgate, and we've got a solid season. All 5 will be tough to beat. That's a huge upgrade. Who do we drop to add those two? Would come from a list of: Canisius, Siena (at this point we shouldn't be...

Re: NEC 2022

Wagner has added two interesting players from the portal. Cassidy should make a meaningful impact. Was pretty good in 2019&2021 for SBU. This redshirt Soph middie from Hofstra is interesting. Ben Stewart. Good size, Canadians are always intriguing and was seemingly productive at a high level in...

Yes. Sep. 1

Should be some 2022 movement this summer with kids being able to visit and meet coaches now.
Service academies get a head start on the 23s starting July 1, right?
Yes. July 1 for Army, AF, and Navy. September 1 for everyone else.

Seen this a couple places tonight late add for incoming class. FO man Dylan Farley’21 announces his commitment to the Greyhounds. An All-State and All-American selection, Farley decommitted from Harvard back in March. Really good get for the Greyhounds. One of the best FO in Georgia and the South i...

Re: Will Florida State go varsity this time?

Doubt it very much that FSU fields varsity men’s lacrosse. Maybe women’s if they need Title IX balancing. But a men’s program seems a stretch. They have the look and feel of an SEC school even though they are in the ACC. E.g. no men’s soccer while they have a strong women’s team. Wouldn't adding wo...

How are the RPI calcs going, not so well I’d presume ? Hard to see how the NCAA reliably uses that measure, but they probably will anyway, I mean, the RPI is screwed up this year due to the off scheduling. Manhattan is 12 in the RPI right now and Rutgers is 13. Eye test will be used heavily this se...

2nd straight big win for Mercer. Over Air Force 15-13. With Sean Goldsmith back, they’re making a late season run for the SoCon 4th spot. Could see Mercer very well get that fourth spot. Have seen AF in person recently and they are just too inconsistent at times for my liking, despite having some v...

Re: Next Gen Coaches

Surprised nobody has mentioned Kyle Georgalas (Army Associate HC/DC) yet. He has served as both OC and DC during his time at West Point. If Cornell doesn't retain Buczek whenever they feel like actually doing a coaching search I see him being one of the first calls. He is a Cornell alum.
