Delaware is joining Conference USA,who doesn't field lacrosse.
I will be shocked if the Delaware womens don't join the Big East.

Re: Online argument poll -- Middlebury
My let's start an online argument post of the quarter. Given another runaway Middlebury championship this year and a dynasty with no plans to slow down. Where would Middlebury have finished in the following conferences? - A-Sun - Atlantic 10 - Big East - Patriot League My Take - They win the A-Sun ...

Re: How will NCAA Settlement Change WLax?
Northwestern is a full member BIG 10 school - why wouldn’t they be included with your other BiG schools? Doubt NU will be affected. Alumni $ built lakeside stadium. It’s the most successful sports program at the school. I think NU is an X factor. They are a full Big 10 member, but don't have close ...

Re: How will NCAA Settlement Change WLax?
Back to the original question, how will this impact women's lax. My perspective. First off, some clarity around the settlement. The settlement calls for 22% of revenues to go to athletes, not a fixed $$ amount. Obviously, impact is much greater for power 5 schools than other schools. Some impacts fr...

Re: How will NCAA Settlement Change WLax?
Not if WLax leadership doesn't create more fan interest. Other sports are way less of a drain than WLax (Women's BB actually makes money at a ton of schools). Things that are ruining WLax fan interest: -The draw -- I took someone who was a huge sports person to his first ever WLax game between two ...

They should still have an asterisk then. Unfair comparison for future players.

Re: How will NCAA Settlement Change WLax?
To get back to the original question, I think the lack of scholarship caps could create an imbalance at the top of women's lax. If a school chooses to fund 30 women's lax scholarships (something our favorite USF assistant proposed earlier this year), any school that could fund this would have a mas...

Re: How will NCAA Settlement Change WLax?
I have to think getting recruited for soccer is a million times more difficult than lacrosse (and I know lax is tough) - since you are competing with the world Yes and no. Alot more kids play soccer, but almost every college has a fully funded women's soccer team. The biggest difference between lax...

Re: The ACC is considering kicking teams out!
My prediction is that football will be managed outside the NCAA within a few years. This will stop football from being the driver of conference alignment. It could also remove football from the Title IX calculations putting many women's sports at risk. As long as the school offers the sports, it st...

Re: Recruiting
Does anyone know a breakdown of playing minutes by class per school. An example, NW has played 17 games this year for a total of 1020 minutes for the team and a total of 12240 minutes combined for a 12 woman roster. What percentage of those minutes were played by freshman/sophmores/jr/sr/grad. Love...

NO ONE involved w Colgate should be surprised by this. I thank Kathy for her hard work and dedication over the...
