Re: York 2024

The transition game and momentum will decide the winner. LSM ripping a shot from deep, attackmen on the ride going all out, and the team morale is all examples. York cannot have the dry, flat-footed performance like the other ranked games. I am expecting this game to be close since it has been quite...

Re: York 2024

I think they are missing Drenner i have to agree here. offense doesn’t seem to have a plan. lots of 1v1. inconsistent lineups that never give the players a change to get familiar with each other. which leads to little passing and lots of 1v1. defense (and coaching) don’t seem to have any confidence...

Re: York 2024

York certainly jumps into the deep end of the pool with this early schedule. What a realistic record after the first 5 games? York should be NCAA tournament ready by the time conference ends. Based on being ranked #11 and from Inside lacrosse, the first 9 games goes like this: #15 home, #7 home, To...

Re: York 2024

really interesting takes especially the idea of moving Fischer down to attack and Russo and HInes to midfield. If that is your defense what are you doing with Rutledge (#10) Are you loading up the top middie line or creating balance? Where is Kaplan? Did he play in the scrimmage a couple of weeks a...

Re: York 2024

Game week!! As I know there are no real answer created in the fall but What are you looking for in this weekends scrimmages? Does Russo play? Who holds down the 3rd and 4th spots at attack. Can Russo and Townsend make the move from EMO specialist to full time players? Middies - there is a lot of ta...

Re: York 2024

Did anyone stand out this year at the alumni game? Any new faces with some skills?

Would love to hear about some potential starting and 2nd/3rd lineups for the spring.

Re: York 2024

Goalie position is locked. Definitely going to be #0. Bold prediction. What do you have for the other spots? I don't think it's that bold honestly. Keller started to heat up as the season went on after filling in for Callinan. I saw some amazing games out of #0 last season: Stevenson (Both games), ...

Re: York 2024

Great schedule this year. My MUST WATCH games will be: Of course, Stevenson, a strong rivalry. Gettysburg will be close. These past few years have been amazing games to watch. RIT and Gulls both, I hope to be close but if not, a good high paced game. Dickinson, after consistent scrimmages, I'm sure ...

Yes, Will Harnick #28, Brent Blackmon #43, Vinny Facciponti #23, Jack Grayson #7, and Zach Mentzer #37 are all back. Great group to stay another year.

Re: York 2024

Is there something going on at York? I’ve heard that they had more players enter the portal. 7+ players in the portal all in the same week seems like a lot especially for a program like York. Must be. I did my fair share of research and conducted this. Over the past season (fall ball included), Yor...

Re: York 2023

Is mayer in the transfer portal, told he was. Mayer is a pretty common name. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a Mayer in some college sports transfer portal. Unlikely it is a Mayer with a York connection. Is Thompson leaving lacrosse? I heard he was This has GOT to be one of the coaching staff. ...

York is well set up. My goodness is the current soph class talented. Mayer, Townsend, Burbank…
Harnick is coming back.

Questionable (really questionable) with others.

Re: York 2023

After watching that disaster, I am going to be as honest as I can with this York squad. Not trolling. No matter what the game play would've been, Tufts would have won. They are simply better in every category. That might not be a factor in all games. But it is the fact how consistent they are that w...

Re: York 2023

I want to see the boys fly around tonight. No regrets. This is Stevenson's National Championship honestly. Both teams did not have much time to scout or prepare so it will come down to WHO plays THEIR game better. Under the lights, Mustang Stadium, fighting for a #1 MAC spot. Nothing better than tha...

Re: York 2023

LVC will be a huge sweep of a game. 24-6 final score probably. Stevenson will be interesting; I think it just comes down to who is the most prepared. Both teams are having very similar seasons = a lot of ranked games with close games, can't pull away with a win. York needs to do well with their shor...

Re: York 2023

As Gettysburg approaches, I think York needs to play the smartest lacrosse they have ever played before. First top 10 ranked team they have played in a while. No matter if Gettysburg hasn't been playing up to speed in their recent games, they still have the SAME talent as they had when they beat Sal...
