Re: NCAC 2024
A lot of so-called prognosticators have remained awfully silent since the Owls once again (I REPEAT ONCE AGAIN) slayed the Bishops at Selby Stadium. I currently am penning my thoughts on the game and have some revisions to make before I release my magnum opus. Until then, I anxiously await official...

Re: NCAC 2024
Can't wait to tune into some NCAC playoff action tonight. A big key for the underdogs is to hang in the game for as long as possible to make the favorites tighten up. Don't know if you all remember but Wooster had Denison tied up 6-6 at halftime in the 2019 semi's before the Big Red pulled away. Ken...

Re: NCAC 2024
Think today's Wooster-Kenyon game will tell us a lot about each team. Kenyon has had one of the weirdest seasons in D3 lacrosse purely from a results standpoint. Meanwhile, Wooster has pounded the weaker opponents on their schedule while struggling a lot vs the top end teams (minus the Ithaca game)...

Re: NCAC 2023
Hurts to say it as a Wooster guy, but it is good to see Kenyon getting in and the NCAC back as a two bid league. Best d3 conference west of the Appalachians right here. Good luck to the NCAC in the tourney

Re: NCAC 2023
Win or go home today. My predictions: Denison 18, Oberlin 13. Year two of postseason play for the Yeomen, and I think they'll be a little less wide-eyed and keep this one relatively competitive. OWU 11, Kenyon 9. OWU has been hated on all year, and sometimes rightfully so. But my gut is telling me t...

Re: NCAC 2023
Playoffs shaping up to be a real doozy. Gonna need someone smarter than me to sort out the potential playoff scenarios headed into the weekend after the dust settles with these Tuesday/Thursday games. Regardless gonna be a dog fight of a playoffs. Biggest disappointment has to be the Scots. After a...

Re: NCAC 2023
Battle for the 2 seed could get reallllllll interesting pending the outcome of today's Kenyon-Wooster game. That being said, my thoughts for today's action: Witt 18, Wabash 7. Snoozer. Wooster 14, Kenyon 13 OT. Chandler steps up in cage and Wooster's two-headed faceoff monster neutralize Nelson enou...

Re: NCAC 2023
No, the NCAC is a one-bid league always. 2018 was the anomaly where OWU beat Salisbury as well as Denison in the regular season, and their only regular season L's were to RIT and Cabrini. Denison's wins against Hampden-Sydney and Gettysburg are impressive but don't think they have the type of resume...

Re: NCAC 2023
Here we go. Predictions Denison 15, OWU 8 - OWU is the little brother in the rivalry lately, and Denison got their mojo back with that Oberlin beatdown. Wooster 22, Wabash 6 - Wooster is finally gonna explode after eating a slice of humble pie on Tuesday. Kenyon 31, Hiram 2. Nuff said. Oberlin 12, D...

Re: NCAC 2023
Thank you, disgruntled Kean/Clark parent whose son wasn’t recruited by Wooster or OWU (skud), for letting us know who this forum’s least knowledgeable poster is right off the bat. Need a dummy like you to keep us on our toes.

Re: NCAC 2023
I'll give props to OWU for getting it done, but I definitely don't think Wooster played their best game of lacrosse. Sloppy O for the Scots, and OWU took advantage in transition. All that being said, the NCAC is still as wide open as it's been in the last decade. No team is cake walking to the title...

Re: NCAC 2023
Wah wah wah...too much whining about a "what if" situation. The result is the result. Pretty likely there will be a rematch at some point in early May. If Denison is truly the better team, they will have an opportunity to prove it then.

Re: Landmark Conference 2023
Loaded slate! My picks - Catholic 17, Susq 10. Cards survived their OOC gauntlet and are settled in. Took Moravian on a one-way trip to pound town last weekend. Scranton 12, Etown 11 OT. Craphispantszano nets the winner. Moravian 9, Drew 6. Mud bowl. Goucher 11, Juniata 5. Mud bowl pt. 2. 3-1 this ...

Re: NCAC 2023
I think we will learn more about Wooster this Wednesday. While their B2B wins in Colorado a couple weeks ago are solid, their resume (for competition) this year isnt as good as the one Denison had played. Good that they (Wooster) are playing at home. Agreed, Leonard. I'm impressed with Wooster's 11...

Re: NCAC 2023
Shaping up to be a wild year in the NCAC. Truly looks like it could be anyone's year. Wooster vs. Denison on Wednesday will tell us a lot about both of these teams. Then, a loaded slate on Tuesday the 11th. The NCAC is no longer a cake walk for Denny/OWU...love to see it.

Re: NCAC 2023
Thanks for the post, Nosey. Like some of those predictions. FWIW here's what I got - Wooster 18, Depauw 6. Depauw's depleted looking sideline won't be able to keep up with the 10-0 Scots. OWU 14, Witt 7. Think that Kenyon W last week is gonna put some wind into the Bishops' sails. Denison 11, Kenyon...

Re: Landmark Conference 2023
Give me both those spreads tighty. The top of the landmark is always a dog fight, especially this season. Not seeing 4-6 goal games coming out of this year's top 3
