Re: Spidey's Sports Book

I guess I should watch more lax! Congrats to the Ivies! Been a little inconsistent (Penn) but showed their strength today. After Duke lost to BC in the ACCs, I’m not sure if I have ever seen a more dejected group. Couldn’t imagine them having to practice for 2 more weeks—then they got a bid. Impress...

I hadn't heard about the Ashley H injury until the broadcast today. I don't know her injury.

Re: NCAA TOURNEY ROUND 1

The moment none of you have been waiting for! Spidey's NCAA ROUND 1 Lines! Anyone else feel like this season absolutely flew by??? Round 1 will be interesting. Putting out lines for some of these games will be tough, but I plan on doing lines for every game of the tournament. Let's see how we do......

Shout-out to the Binghamton Bearcats with their first ever AEC conf championship (and, I believe, first ever win over UAlbany)!

Re: Games Today

To say they are beatable is fairly obvious and not sure it takes perfect game plan and execution - granted both have to be very good. Lost to ND, lost to Penn State, and nailbiters that could have gone either way vs Michigan and Hopkins. Penn State and Hopkins are not top 10 teams. Something may be...

Re: Games Today

Hopkins and NU tied at 10. Surprised the shot to the head from the NU defenders on JHU No. 27 didn't result in a penalty and possession to JHU. Yeah, not a charge there at the end of the 3Q. Should be an interesting Q4. Absolutely egregious shot to the head of 27 that knocked her out of the game. N...

Re: Mental Health, Abuse and reporting in Women's Lacrosse

I definitely agree with her. None of these coaches are concerned about mental health. They’re concerned about winning. And that’s fine, but let’s not be hypocritical about it. HEALTHIER PLAYERS = MORE WINNING! Not either/or. If coaches don't embrace every opportunity to support healthier players, d...

Re: Cuse at BC, 4/18 @ 1700 hrs

I actually think BC wins this by a goal or two. I just think BC will be able to score, and has a slightly better defense than Syracuse. That's what I think. What I'd like is a running clock in favor of Cuse by mid-way through the second quarter, and then a persistent 11-15 goal margin the rest of t...

Re: Northwestern at Maryland, 4/6 6 p.m.

shooting space calls when the player isn't even going to the goal I can’t stand that! And I’m a parent of an attacker. My favorites are the shooting space calls before the attacker catches the ball and proceeds to drop the pass. You saw that too? I haven't rewatched Clemson v BC but I think the ref...

Re: Games Today

I think UVA Louisville will be a close one and can see Louisville winning a one goal game , can you say outcoached ,. I have heard a lot from this site about how great the Lamonicas’s have been for this program just have not seen the results . I don't think this is too far-fetched. Louisville puts ...

Re: Games Today

My list of teams I am rooting for is getting shorter . Sorry but the Cuse stat padding at the end of the Cornell game was ridiculous, the game was over way before that . I am a Syracuse fan and nearly the entire 4th quarter I was imploring Coach to get 1, 24, 35 and 44 at least off the field -- if ...

Re: Games Today

Based on what I'm seeing, drizzly might be a nice relief for this one. Red sky in morning and all that...big red sky in Cuse this morning and I think even more red in Ithaca. Scary game in lousy conditions. Forecast calls for pain. Trap game for 'Cuse. And yes, Sea, Farmers' Market is only weekends...
