Re: US Lax Mag All Americans
Much steadier hand this time—or did the ribs move a little slower? I must say these shots show your complete game. Blue collar work ethic is evident through the meal choice and flatware. High level IQ, finesse and finish with the sauce complexity and garnish. I don’t think preseason Short Ribber of ...

Re: Syracuse
Thinking about letting my 8yr old daughter go to a lacrosse camp down here in Atlanta where the big name is Michelle Tumelo. What can folks tell me about her? Former Orange star I understand but know nothing about women’s college lacrosse. I don't know Michelle nor follow Syracuse as closely as som...

Gotta love the commitment of #28 HS at the end of the play!

Re: Inside Lacrosse Top 50
In the late 80s when I was learning the game on the men's side, I don't remember any all wood sticks but there were still a few guys who held on to their wood shafts. Let's just say I don't think most were doing it for improved feel and skill. ;) There were exceptions, but in my experience it tende...

Re: OuttaNowhereWregget—Opinions, photos, highlights, news, etc.
Nice DMac. The only way the 1v1 D could've improved maybe is if she was able to physically move CN away from the cage--that would take it 9/10 to 10/10. I'm a all high-fives on the sideline when 3 comes off the field--held CN to low % shot. Perhaps her frustration is also because they need a save in...

Agreed. I wouldn't have been at all surprised to see that called but great strength to control the follow-through.

Re: The Great One - Another Exasperated Defender
The best part of this is Ginny senior defender Nina Garfinkel's flounce after North's goal. Too funny. What more do I have to do to cover her?! https://media.giphy.com/media/s1thcY3A3XogcrRueB/giphy.gif Gets funnier each time I watch it. That's very good defense out there on that island. I don't bl...

Incredible campus and lacrosse venue. 2022 Final Four was a sports experience of a lifetime (despite the outcome). Can't help but root for Hopkins to shake up the B1G.

Great to get the elite midfielders https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/no-4-incoming-freshman-maryland-s-maggie-weisman-a-reese-foundation/60431 MW is actually listed on the UMD roster as attack--should be a good one. I think the elite middie in this class will be wearing #36 for the Terps - IL ...

Re: Inside Lacrosse Top 50
I would rather have 3 Schleichers (or insert your fave circle player here) on circle and dot than one MJ because I think 1 self-drawer should be easier to beat. As draw taker you don't have to win the draw, just get the ball on the ground and make it a 3v3 (oversimplified, of course). This makes wh...

Re: Inside Lacrosse Top 50
Sorry. 2nd best draw player on Duke had only 29 for the year. Second best draw player for BC had 108. 2nd best for MD had 89, and so on. Compared to Duke, the other teams had more players contribute to the draw effort which I would prefer as a coach (which I am not, nor should I be). Ahhh. I see no...

Re: Inside Lacrosse Top 50
To say DC's are not relevant seems a bit simplistic. More DC's, more shots. Don't think anyone is saying draws/face offs are not relevant but I do believe DC specialist/FOGOs are highly overrated in their value and draw/face off stats can be very deceiving with regards to wins and losses. Brought t...

Re: Inside Lacrosse Top 50
Good stuff. BC defense and 2-way midfield are perennially underrated but will be the quiet foundation for another run. Offensive balance and depth of scoring will have to extend to the midfield where new faces like SA will emerge. i don't know if BC has it in them this year. Good team on paper stil...

Re: Inside Lacrosse Top 50
IL Top 50 List Thoughts: 1. Assuming she’s healthy, I would take Sacne over Meg Tyrell any day. 124 points in 16 games in 2021 is ridiculous. Her insane scoring makes her my pick for the best player in the country for next season. 2. For the third spot, I’d definitely take Smith over Bosco. Bosco i...
