Re: NESCAC

+1, as well. Forum has become USELESS. Longtime fan of Laxpower, and then FanLax. Been associated with the NESCAC since the conference was chartered. PLEASE, pull the plug on theses posters, delete the posts, and keep the discussion to NESCAC lacrosse. Then you may see some knowledgable fans return....

Re: Dartmouth 2024

This has significant potential to be a GREAT hire, one which will eventually completely turn around Dartmouth’s position in the sport. Dartmouth is largely an undergraduate institution, with an incredibly welcoming community. There is good reason that Dartmouth alums tend to bleed green! My hunch is...

Re: NESCAC

Colby at Bates, tomorrow night. Which team closes out the season winless in the conference? I think Bates will win this one at home.

Re: Coaching Carousel-2022

Jeremy Hirsch is a very hot contender….but he can also be smart and very choosy. He might make a move NEXT year, 2023 hiring season…..or keep waiting for the right one. No lack of interest in his career.

Re: NESCAC

Agree, GREAT hire for Bates. Slam Dunk. I think he would have blown away most D3 HC’s in interview process {I say that having run about 9 HC searches in various sports at three NESCAC schools.} When a coach commands the room, has a vision and a plan, and exudes energy it trumps a lot of crap that sh...

Re: NESCAC

2013. NESCAC POY was Ian Deveau, of Colby. He has been the NESCAC ROY in 2009, and All-NESCAC all the way through. Four years. Colby was last in the NESCAC in 2013. Another serious POY candidate on some middling Colby teams was Craig Bunker, who if the award was M Valuable, probably would have run a...

Re: NESCAC

Peter Lasagna is a GREAT guy, and has given everything to the game and still does. He's not a kid.....64 or 65. I HOPE that he is able to, and is smart enough to go out on his own terms. I am sure that he's seem how long it's taken his brother in law {Dom Starsia} to deal with his release from UVA {...

Re: NESCAC

Happy to see that W for Bates and Peter.
I think they'll beat Colby as well.

Will Peter Lasagna retire? Often asked question as of late.

Re: SUNYAC 2022

I'm curious, but I have not followed the SUNYAC at all this year. Our kids are all mid thirties now. All three played in college: two in the NESCAC and one at SLU. Back when SLU had the insane win streak. At that time, Cortland was one of the consistently best teams in D3. A near sure bet to be play...

Re: NESCAC

Am I reading the box score for the Amherst-Colby game correctly?
Amherst went 22-0 at the F/O dot? Colby failed to win a single F/O?
If so....Wow.

Yale leads 18-6 at the half. On 20 shots on goal, 28 shots.
Wow.
BU's only loss: 13-10 vs Harvard.

Re: NESCAC

Another great day for Bowdoin. What a turnaround this season. I have to say that Billy Mason has COY in the NESCAC locked up. At the time that he was hired, I know many in the game who felt that he was a GREAT hire, but also others who felt that they could have "reached higher and spent more mo...

Re: NESCAC

That’s a pretty bad loss for Amherst, losing to a Springfield team that just beat Wheaton by two on Saturday. Springfield can be very streaky and has been a tough out for years for some very good NESCAC teams. Seem to rise to the occasion. Not what I expected to see. Likely were looking past them. S...

Re: Boston University 2022

Agree, lose the constant 10 man ride. Not so innovative in 2022. Can you imagine this team with both Chris Gray and UVA's FY Griffin Schutz {a BU de-commit}, who seems to have it all ? Guy is a force. 225 lbs with the softest hands on their team. Just a matter of time before Coach Polley himself get...

Re: 2021 Coaching Carousel

Won’t be Lelan. He has a new gig that he is very excited about.

https://laxallstars.com/lelan-rogers-spire/amp/

He had NO interest in a few good, very good D3 open jobs in the fall. I know that he was approached about three of them. So….nope, not the guy.

Good luck to Oswego.

Expecting to see it go away, with a decent, sworn to secrecy settlement.
Best to get this entire episode behind them.

Re: COACHING CAROUSEL 2021

Interesting move for McGinn. Wish him all the best. Lots of challenges, I’m sure!

So……as the carousel turns, who might we see interested in Robert Morris? I would assume they want to fill it ASAP.

Dylan Sheridan might be an interesting fit. Off the top of my head.
