Re: Roanoke 2024

Goalie needed to make adjustments. Wesleyan was shooting from his right from 12. They must have hit the offhand high ten times. If you know that is where they are going take some of it away to give them stickside high. He didn’t make tha adjustment. The all was moving pretty quickly though and they ...

Re: York 2024

It was said as a general statement to cover the last 5 years or so. Obviously last nights game was not pretty for CNU and they were maybe a stretch to be put in that group as they don’t have any hardware. But as you say, we are only 4 weeks in.

Re: York 2024

Salisbury,Tufts, RIT and CNU force opposing teams to deal with what they throw at them.If you want to join that grouping you have to do the same. York has the face offs, goal tending and defense covered. I’m not so sure about their offense vs Salisburys defense.

Re: 2023 FanLax Forum Poll

1-Salisbury-Defense, Ransom Malamphy and Brown are a tough quartet for any team to match up against. 2-RIT- Their offense vs Naz and York looked different than in the past. Ball movement up top just wasn’t there. 3-CNU-Have taken care of business. The next four games are a murderers row for them. Lo...

Re: What Music Are You Listening To ?

Spotify sent a playlist to the war dept. this a.m. 1973 soul/pop. Lots of music from the jukebox at the Brass Rail in Oneonta. Al Green, Marvin Gaye, The Spinners and all. I remember those Oneonta State sorority girls dancing on the bar and singing right along. A lot of smiles on a lot of faces. :D

Anybody have ideas how to outfit a 14 ft Jon boat? Small lake fishing, oars or small electric motor.

Re: Salisbury 2024

Thinking back on it, Carozza being out might have had an affect on their game plan. He really solidifies the crease sets a good pick and handles the ball well in traffic.
Whether you like the offense or not.Malamphy gets them the ball and the defense is always strong.

Re: Liberty League 2024

SLU took it to WNE today, 15-8. Final score is not indicative of actual game - SLU was all over the golden bears. Relatively easy stretch coming up for the Saints till they’re in MD for the Mustang Classic. Easy? I hope the kids are not thinking that way. If you get beat in either of these games yo...

Re: Salisbury 2024

Yesterday everything was from up top. At least mix it up some and, give the defense something to think about. There’s no doubt they can win playing it that way but why not make it easier on yourself. They scored 14 goals and I can count 4 that were gifts from G-burg. Play that game in two months and...

Re: Salisbury 2024

I don’t get the Salisbury offense for the last two years. When they run the offense through Brown life is so much easier for all the rest of the scorers who like to play one v one. When they don’t the scorers get points but have to work way to hard for them. Again this is a work in progress for Sali...

Re: Teams on the verge of something....

Skidmore and Vassar. Skidmore OOC games are nothing to write home about, They could enter conference games maybe undefeated then we will see. They have always been well coached. Depth could be a problem. If the Vassar administration wants it mens lacrosse could rise. Look at Swarthmore. And , Vassar...
