Re: Teams that will suffer important loss of seniors for next season

Looks to me like the level of lacrosse in general will be dropping off and just about every top program will be taking a big hit. If UNC can stay healthy I think it will be theirs for the taking. As far as the UVA youth movement they lose their 2 best defenders who never came off the field along wi...

Re: Teams that will suffer important loss of seniors for next season

I think many teams will suffer from all 2019s and before along with 2020s graduating. Especially Maryland & Notre Dame. Kori Edmonson is their offense next season? Edmondson will be Maryland's biggest threat but they do have some other players they've been giving opportunities to who will proba...

Re: NCAA Tournament Games Scheduling Disgrace

Part of me wonders with all the quarterfinals on Thursday if all the teams want to play earlier in the day to start recovery. I think that was the reasoning for making the Final Four games early post-Covid as the title game moved to 12 p.m. on Sunday. The other unfortunate thing is if you look at th...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024

Maryland over JMU so far 14-2. Dukes having a really bad day. It may not have mattered but JMU shot themselves in the foot with their goalie choice early. Boden had 11 saves and gave up 11 goals when they played MD back in March. Today they went with Evans in goal to start and she gave up five goal...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024

Add 12pm #4 Maryland vs Robert Morris unimpressed by MD's first half against RM. Agreed! Why do i think the committee thay set that match up did it on purpose to advance one team? Maryland isn't anything special but they probably would have coasted against most of the other one-bid league AQs. And ...

USA Lacrosse put out their list today. Re: Games Today

I think if a poll were taken for who is the most gentlemanly, respectful, and knowledgeable poster, I think Seacoaster would be near, or at, the top, where as you, ONW, would be near, or at, the bottom. Plenty of evidence here see that as reasonable thinking. +1 I just posted something on the men's...

Re: UNC 2024 End of Season (2024-2025 Predictions)

Caitlyn Wurzburger’s story is implying she will NOT return next season. A great career at UNC, but I think it’s good for her knowing we have lots of depth next season. I'm confused CW is a senior and does not have another year of eligibility. Covid free years stopped prior to her class. UNC comes b...

Re: WLAX Bracketology

I don't envy the committee's job this year at all. Northwestern is the only team that's separated itself from the field. The top seeds as well as a lot of the AQs and at-large bids could beat each other on any given day. Seeding this field and making the bracket is not going to be easy.

Re: WLAX Bracketology

So right now in RPI the Big 10 has four teams in the top 6 (MD, NW, Michigan JHU). That means those teams will just keeping getting an RPI boost from playing each other the rest of the way, and should stay pretty high in the rankings as long as they don't lose to Ohio St., who is currently No. 56 in...

Typical Twerp fan--finding solace in beating Johns Hopkins. For a second there I thought you were wishful thinking yourself...maybe Maryland will beat Northwestern again after Scane moves on. https://media.giphy.com/media/UH3HAjPfKKiKENUSr4/giphy.gif Top 10 wins on the road are never a bad thing. I notice a certain someone is very quiet tonight. Maybe Hopkins will finally beat the Terps in the B1G tournament or in College Park on the weird field next season. Sorry your dream didn't come true.

Re: Northwestern at Maryland, 4/6 6 p.m.

I haven't seen Taylor one tenth as much as many here but I haven't seen all the flopping she's accused of doing by the many here. Very good, and strong, player. They are just jealous that KAH is able to evaluate talent much better than their teams. From IL honorable mention to 1st year, day 1 start...

Re: Flops and FU Goals

Does Izzy Scane scoring with six seconds left when the game was well in hand count as one of these? And as for flopping, I didn't really see any from Taylor yesterday.

Re: Northwestern at Maryland, 4/6 6 p.m.

Northwestern now doing whatever they want. See a running clock coming before too long. Maryland can’t get anything on offense and not good enough on d. Too many weapons to cover. It's getting hard to watch. Offense is lacklustre to say the least. Lackluster is being kind. Lackluster all around and ...
