But it does sound like a lot of interesting litigation. At least the lawyers will be OK if it happens.
The running meme surrounding the football conference realignment is the only winner is billable hours.

Re: 2024

Another moment of candor and reflection. Note Don Jr. and -- believe it or not -- the Lt. Governor of Texas, over his shoulders.

Re: Semifinal Two -- Syracuse v. BC

So I am working overtime: lighting candles, prayers to the Sky Man with Beard, getting a rabbit's foot, wasting some salt over my shoulder, trying out rally cap configurations. What else can I do? I dunno but I'm going out to get a corned beef brisket today. Oh, and kissing the nose of a black lab ...

Re: Semifinal Two -- Syracuse v. BC

Are we so sure, so literally solidified that Florida cannot pull off this upset? I for one never thought Florida would make it this far but in watching the last couple of games . I think they may be able to do it and that would be something. I have not, truth be told, seen Florida play except for t...

Tucker Carlson launches his new show...on Russian State television. All pretensions to being an "independent media figure" are finally swept away, and Tucker and his millions kneel at the throne of his Master. Maybe he will help the Reich Unify?

Re: Semifinal One -- Florida v. NU

Both teams race down the field in transition. I think NU can get sloppy in transition and it will happen against Florida. Florida will be +8 or more on the draw and can play make it take it better than any team in the country. Florida will put the pressure on Northwestern. I'm thinking(hoping) Flor...

Re: Semifinal One -- Florida v. NU

I'm going with the upset here. Florida 12-10 Florida is big, physical and fast all over the field. If they can give Izzy and Erin a not so easy time with clear paths to the goal, they can hang around. The only drawback to this game will be the incessant flopping from both teams. Your lips to God’s ...

Semifinal Two -- Syracuse v. BC

Third time this year, this time to make the final. I think Syracuse is capable of doing it, but just think it is unlikely. BC looked pretty sharp against Michigan. Still, the regular season meeting between these two was 11-10 in OT in Chestnut Hill. I'll be a dutiful homer and say Syracuse wins, 12-...

Semifinal One -- Florida v. NU

Thought I'd make thread for these two games.

Semi No. 1: unseeded Florida against the prohibitive (my view) favorite. I was impressed with Florida against Maryland, but this is a different mountain to climb. Better defense than Maryland; exponentially better offense than Maryland. 18-11?

Shocked. At least John Barron was there to fairly report on the event.

Re: Home Stretch / National Rankings

F&M takes down Tufts in OT, in a game Tufts led the whole way until Dips scored with .15 left in regulation.

Semifinals:

Middlebury v. F&M

Salisbury v. William Smith

Should be a nice weekend of lacrosse.
