Re: Games Today
A new rule is that if a team ends a quarter when man up than they start with the ball the next quarter:

Re: Games Today
The natural order is being restored. You can see that the flag trimmed ladies of the lacrosse state are just scratching the surface of their potential. The 6 foot attacker Russo and number 1 recruit Edmonson are going to push the elders May, Clevenger, and Leubecker to the natty. The Megan Ball led...

Re: Games Today
I didn’t watch the game, so I didn’t see the actual plays that happened and that makes a huge difference. However, from the stat line you have to give ND credit. This is a great win and until ND chokes, then you must give them the credit they deserve. They beat the #1 team and held the best offense ...

Re: Army @ Cuse, 2/14, 1600 hrs.
I love to see Army doing so well and BD is super fun to watch. There is great women's lacrosse throughout division 1. I am a huge fan, but pump the breaks on top 15 and beating Loyola for the Patriot. Loyola is just a much better team with better players that fit their system with great coaches. On...

Re: Games Today
These midfield green cards are not a good rule change. Too many whistles. Game is too long. Florida coaching staff apparently stepped out for a couple of burgers and some beers at halftime. Good on ya #22 with the sock trick...+3A against a ranked Fla. IMO Loyola needs one more offensive weapon. La...

Re: UNC 2024 Injuries
So did she do four years at UNC and then commit to a grad year at USC and then decommit before even playing in a game (did she go there and practice?) and is now taking a year off to do a grad year at UNC next year at, say. 24 or 25 years old? Weird to leave the team before playing a game - yes? We...

Re: Games Today
Dukes get the draw and score to end a very exciting, back and forth, game. How were the between the restraing lines greens today? Not bad at all, primarily because the players refrained from fouling. But this is the first time I've seen a game under the new rules so I have nothing to compare this g...

Re: Games Today
No #9 Emily Wills for Loyola? Their offense looked good, but is much more dynamic with her. A strong lefty feeder.

Re: Who will be the starting 7 in the offensive zone for the Heels?
Who's the stud leader when the team needs a goal during crunch time? Talent and depth--sure; but will the offensive unit gel? We'll get an excellent first look at how the Heels plan to attack this Saturday vs JMU. Big time test. I got the Dukes by 3-ish. Casey Godine. She has elite dodging skills w...

Re: My 2024 probably not gonna happen predictions
Great topic. Seeing how Jane early’s game translates to d1 is going to be fascinating But I will take the under on Denver relative to consensus. I don’t think they make final four and it wouldn’t shock me if they weren’t elite 8…though I hope and expect them to make the quarters. They had a GREAT s...

Re: My 2024 probably not gonna happen predictions
I think NU will be hard to stop in 2024. Don't see anyone else getting close. Maybe BC if the transfers get acclimated quickly. I was dubious about UNC and then the injury reports started coming out. Sad for those kids. I just don't see any leadership in that program rn which makes winning a champi...

Re: UNC 2024 Injuries
Yeep! I am gutted for this team. They need those three players out there in order to mount a challenge. I could see a silver lining in these injuries. While I do think all these players make the team better, they have too many offensive players. This does narrow down the attack to a set few and may...

Re: Miscellaneous Topics 2023
Just read the article on UMD by US Lax Magazine and have 2 notes. First, they said that Lexi Dupack had over 300 goals at CALVERT HALL. Calvert Hall is an all boys school in Towson MD and Lexi Dupack went to Broadneck HS in Annapolis, MD. I know mistakes happen but how do they list that she went to...

Re: 2024 Preseason All-Americans
https://t.co/poPUZvcqKS Not trying to be a hater but how does Wurzburger keep making these lists😭 I think they are desperate to have an offensive player from UNC on their lists. She still has ‘name recognition” To NOT have her on this list would be a tacit admission by the lax media that they have ...

Re: WLax coverage
Sara Falk is a player. I think Rachel Clarke could lead the country in scoring at BC this year. Falk put on a show to beat Clarke and Virginia last year in the first round of playoffs. Go watch the highlights of her running through the Virginia defense for something like 7 goals. Could Falk have a ...

Re: US Lax Magazine Preseason Rankings
The Big 10 has a solid group of 7 top to bottom. Ohio State is at the bottom, but spending to get better. I think the most talent is in the ACC, but there are 10 teams. I would put those teams into 4 tiers of talent, that's a big spread. How do people see the ACC? My tier 3 is crazy, the season wil...

Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
Quinnipiac drama... ...and possibly MAAC drama? Why have 3 of the 4 2023 MAAC quarterfinalists had coaching staff changes? This is incorrect. Only 1(QU) of the 4 quarterfinalists had a coaching change in the MAAC. Niagara employed Emily Hawryschuk as an assistant coach in 2023. After she moved on, ...
