Siena Heights hired their coach....unfortunately its Frank Rogers. Stories go he's been run off by the players at every program he has coached. SHU was once a top tier program. This hire is a huge step back for them.

Re: 2021 Coaching Carousel
Webber has owned St Andrews for about a decade now. If St Andrews is in trouble does this affect Webber? I could be wrong but I am pretty sure Keiser owns Webber as well. I know Webber keeps telling recruits they are going D2 and when you talk to Keiser they say "why would we let Webber go D2 ...

Jon Paul is gone from St Ambrose: https://athletics.augustana.edu/news/2023/6/22/mens-lacrosse-jon-paul-named-head-mens-lacrosse-coach.aspx Something not right at that school, gone through a lot of coaches and not just in lacrosse. Two most successful left in the last 3 years Rogers never should ha...

Re: 2023 Rankings
Nothing really changed from the postseason poll last year. Which is why I don't like the preseason polls, the NAIA coaches just vote the exact same as they did to end last season, without taking into consideration of some changes in team dynamics. Without any news outlets to report on recruiting an...

Also interesting - UHSP is also hiring a FT assistant https://www.paycomonline.net/v4/ats/web.php/jobs/ViewJobDetails?job=40760&clientkey=1E3AC297F410A99B94DEBF41FE3F4AF6 No idea the pay, but this tells me they at least understand what goes into building a program. Well their AD definitely isn’...

Re: Benedictine
So you are saying a former D1 coach of the year wanted to head to Kansas to coach at a NAIA school? Interesting. Not completely out of the ordinary though. Coach Burdick at Webber was the MAAC coach of the year during his tenure at Providence. Not saying he is the coach in question here, just that ...

This happened: https://ravenathletics.com/sports/mlax/2022-23/releases/20220809oje27p Garret is now an assistant at W&L. And then this happened: https://ravenathletics.com/sports/mlax/2022-23/releases/20220912s23gtn This is embarrassing for Benedictine and the NAIA. I have it on good authority ...

I’m not sure if this spot was mentioned as being open but Shorter University has found their guy… dying program only 19 guys listed on the 2022 roster and 3-14 record last year and 7-70 since 2017 and haven’t had a winning season since the second year of the program in 2015. Had to dig in the comme...

Re: Coaching Carousal
I think we all need to point out the Young Harris was a JUCO up until 2012, not even 10 years ago. And from everything I've heard the D2 jump has not been kind to them. Same issues have happened to a lot of schools in that region. Shorter and Emmanuel were NAIA and jumped around the same time those ...

Heard from the grape vine the Oglethrope position is about to become open again. even after their coach had the interim tag removed 3 weeks ago? https://www.gopetrels.com/sports/mlax/2021-22/releases/20211110nd48kh He dates the women's coach. She's leaving for another job and he's following her.

Re: Coaching Carousel
Word is Tusculum cut all international scholarships. If that's true you just lost the ability to recruit Canadian kids, huge disadvantage in D2. Apparently they aren't the only school in the conference that has don't that recently too.

Re: Coaching Carousel
on the DIII level Brevard (NC) to the list of schools looking for a HC, tough time to loss a HC. Wonder if he jumped ship to grab the Mars Hill job, I believe he is very rooted in that area and Brevard seems to be a tough place to run a program. Was it not the UAH assistant who got the Mars Hill jo...

Re: 2021 Coaching Carousel
I can you a 2 former NAIA conference coaches of the year applied for the job and didn't even get phone interviews. From what people around the program have said it wasn't a coaching search either. This guy was going to be the coach from the get go. Not sure why they didn't give him the full title th...
