Re: 2024

The judge need not send Trump to any of the jails in Manhattan such as Rikers. He could order him to be confined in the holding cells in the courthouse. He could, in the first instance, impose a jail sentence of, say, six hours. Hold Trump in a courthouse cell after court has finished for the day an...

Re: Coaching Carousel 2024

Agree about Robinson. I have long thought he's the best HS glax coach out there. And there are some real good ones. He's a triple threat. He can recruit, teach, and is a good in game coach. Good motivator as well. What he did at McDonogh will never be duplicated. You'd have to think he's been approa...

Re: ACC Tournament - Seeds, schedule and thoughts

For starters, ONW, you are a fraud. You claim you don’t read my posts, yet you repeatedly comment on them. Now to the issue at hand. Well, ol’ bean, you really stepped in it this time. Violated your own precept of “read first, post second.” Here is the initial post you claim to have been referring t...

Re: ACC Tournament - Seeds, schedule and thoughts

Where did you see the all tournament team? The All ACC regular season teams were announced on the 23rd. Is that what you’re looking at? 2024 ACC All-Tournament Team Sydney Scales, Boston College (MVP) Rachel Clark, Boston College Shea Dolce, Boston College Belle Smith, Boston College Cassidy Weeks,...

Re: ACC Tournament - Seeds, schedule and thoughts

I don't know who mentioned it earlier but it was a good observation. Kayla Treanor doesn't look well. Noticeably thinner. Just stop with the negative comments about female appearances. You got sent to the sin bin by admin once for similar comments about a year and a half ago. You obviously didn’t l...

Re: 2024 HS season

Winding back a couple of days .... Anyone notice that the CIAC mandates that a game only have a maximum of two overtime periods? Yep, New Canaan and Darien finished in a 5-5 tie after some wonderful and tense lacrosse. The game was leveled in the last ten seconds of regulation. Overtime had some te...

Re: 2024 HS season

Per nj.com, St. A’s 9 Summit 2. Not surprised by the result, but I am surprised that the Hilltoppers were held to only two goals. When has that ever happened? Garden City 12 Oak Knoll 8. Not surprised by that result either. I’d seen Morristown take apart Oak Knoll last week, which was before OKS bea...

Didn’t end up mattering, but the refs missed MD 40 stepping into the goal circle after her shot that had been saved. Should have been Rutgers ball with 15 seconds to go. Doesn’t matter now.

Re: January 6, 2021: Insurrection or “normal tourist” visitation?

There didn't seem to be any votes to adopt Trump's absolute immunity position, in toto. But then Ginny may yet work on Thomas and Alito. There also doesn't seem to be a majority to affirm the D.C. Circuit's decision as is. But a majority of Justices seem to be of the view that the central allegation...

Argument not going well for The Donald, but then we are still on the questioning of his lawyer. We shall see if things change when Jack Smith’s lawyer gets up.
