I’m not agreeing or disagreeing it is right or wrong. It happens a lot, not just with Masera. It’s really not that big of a deal to me. My point is simply that I don’t think the classification made any difference to the committee.

I understand why the classification may make a difference for All American lists where there are limitations on the number of slots per position, but I don’t see how the classification (or misclassification if you will) impacts the Tewaaraton.
