Re: Military readiness
So the USS Boxer, 10 days into a deployment after an extensive overhaul has to return to port because the ship is still having issues. What the hell is wrong with the US Navy? They can't fix their ships and are decommissioning ships that are 10 years old. If the folks in DC that love to investigate...

Re: Possible face-off changes
We've all had frustration when our team faces disadvantage for possessions, but, regardless, the opportunity for 'make it, take it' late rallies is a great feature of the game. If need to clean up over-officiating, fine, but, strongly believe lax benefits from the opportunity for trailing teams to ...

Re: MAAC 2024
Yep, the wacky MAAC. Siena down to Manhattan 7-10 with 48 seconds left, score at :47, :34, :24, and :03 for the win. WOW! Cue up the lax trivia gurus to find that happening ever before.

Re: Possible face-off changes
For anyone with an opinion that face-offs do nothing for the game:
Siena down to Manhattan 7-10 with 48 seconds left, score at :47, :34, :24, and :03 for the win thanks to face offs. WOW! Cue up the lax trivia gurus to find that happening ever before.

Any venue that's consistently filled to 75% or more of capacity, without a track surrounding it and without lines of other sports overwhelming the field. Especially when end lines have to bisect football end zone designs/colors/lettering/logos.

And he never did find the real murder even though he ceaselessly kept trying for 30 years. Glen Rogers said he kill Nicole & Ronald. To this day Rogers family believes he did it. The proper hearse for OJ has been chosen. IMG_1412.jpeg Mebbe Glen Rogers can be the driver: https://en.wikip...

Re: Orange Duce
Love that Trump's orgs have already been found guilty of tons of counts of tax fraud, and he has many more on the way. While Biden has none that I'm aware of. One Biden offspring seems to have IRS trouble, while multiple Trump offspring have like 10-100x the trouble. Funny joke guys! A real knee sl...
Re: 2024
You got the first part right, but went astray (as usual) in speculating what I want. I got a great 1-12 education in a large rural no frills school district which prepared me to enter & complete my vo-tech college education. That was before teachers Unions existed. The curriculum was managed by...

We can reasonably talk about what BALANCE is most effective at creating a successful, sustainable society........ Yes. But that's not the discussion at hand. This is about a full grown adult throwing a temper tantrum, telling us that a University that is owned and operated by the Federal government...

Re: Eclipse - fact or fiction
Where I live the 2017 eclipse was more complete than this year's - ~85-90% compared to ~65-70%. In both instances I was lucky to have completely cloud free days for the experiences. It definitely got darker in 2017 but I don't recall a temperature drop like the one I experienced this year. Perhaps t...

Busy Wednesday slate. Not the national scene usual suspects but a couple of interesting contests: Quinnipiac/Sacred Heart 3pm, LIU/Manhattan 4pm. Potential first-round teams for someone. I understand why due to pre-season projections ESPNU selected tonight's Siena-Marist game for their mid-week nat...
