Re: ESPN Crew is Unlistenable
Welp there it is. Another 8 months until I hear anyone use the term Young Buck to describe a human being of any shape or size

Re: LIBERTY LEAGUE 2022
Well the NCAA got it right. A 10-12 final is worthy of a national championship game. Regardless of the conference represented. What this represents is that quality conferences, LL, NESCAC and on and on deserved and got more representation at the at large level and also diversification in the bracket...

Re: 2022 D3 NCAA Tournament Bracket
I often find this "whose conference is the best" a funny, if not silly discussion. Funny because it happens often. As if there is somehow some pride in having "your team" associated with a strong conference which perhaps justifies all of your "quality" losses. It smacks...

Re: SUNYAC 2022
SUNY employment rewards longevity over merit. If you want the big bucks, you need to get in early and stick around. Whether you are a Coach or a Professor. It is the nature of the employer, not the environment of the competition you are hired to coach or teach.

Re: 2022 D3 NCAA Tournament Bracket
The controversial which is the best conference question is really not as controversial anymore. Other than the typical swag and bragging, no one really cared about that much until it came time to select the at large bids and one conference always seemed to get their on the bubble teams in because of...

Re: SUNYAC 2022
If your numbers are right that is reasonable. Moreover, if those numbers are equivalent to SUNY Oswego, Cortland, Binghamton, etc. then that is market price. And SUNY Brockport should not be anything less than that.

Re: SUNYAC 2022
Richard: More than 22,500?....well that is just silly. This is a lacrosse forum so I get it. But seriously, it is a DIII state school in a remote rural environment in upstate NY. "State" schools like Rutgers that still has a dog in the fight or maybe all the BI$ Ten state schools have a &q...

Re: SUNYAC 2022
Well it is a State School. A DIII non-revenue sport. What is the correct price? Funded by tax payer dollars, in addition to the cost of running the academic programs, paying professors and all other staff at the institution...what is the number that tax payers in the State of NY should pay for an ex...

Re: 2022 D3 NCAA Tournament Bracket
I watched the RIT-Bowdoin game at the same time while watching Rutgers - Penn. I get it about the RIT announcer but man it was refreshing compared to listening to the references to the Jersey Boys and "Thunderoad" and all of that frat boy insinuated non-sense on ESPN. The RIT announcer is ...

Re: LIBERTY LEAGUE 2022
Big win for SLU. I have watched these teams go at it year after year. They recruit from almost the same demographic of kids. It is hard for one team to beat the other more than once a year. Even when one is stronger than the other it still comes down to a flip of the coin. A nice rivalry. It is almo...

Re: NYS Section V
Watched the Victor/Thomas game online. Listening to the Victor fans or maybe "fan" was kind of funny. They were riding the refs pretty hard, even after the game was over. They really are not used to losing. Good game otherwise and from what I saw, the refs did a pretty good job with a few ...

Re: NYS Section V
Seems like the Class ranking needs a little flexibility or modification. I understand it is apples and oranges when comparing Section V to other mega districts down state but having only 5 teams in class A is a little skewed. Even if you just dropped it down to 1000 that would push Victor, Schroeder...

Man that ESPN camera guy needs to wipe the camera lense off. This can't be his first rodeo with rain.

Re: NYS Section V
The reward for Victor is that fans who don't attend live have to listen to the CA radio broadcaster ramble on in a stream of conscientious, babbling on about what...I am sure no one knows. It is like listening to Brother Wease announcing the numbers at a Quik Draw lottery draw at a corner bar at 2:0...

Re: 2021 Tournament
Not to beat a dead horse (although I have never actually beaten one so it might be fun) my point is that there is a certain point in games like this, especially in tournaments when time is getting tight and the team that is down starts to realize they need the ball and fast. So you throw out all the...

Re: 2021 Tournament
I'm sure I'll end up eating these words as well, but Tufts' only consistent source of offense right now is unsettled transition. Once RIT gets set up in 6v6 they have been very, very good; Tufts has to work incredibly hard just to get shots on cage. I guess Tufts is allowed to hit them in the throa...

Re: Georgetown-Syracuse
Yup. Army got screwed. They just did not have enough quality losses. They just beat the last in head to head. But that is clearly not enough.

Re: NYS Section V
Nigel I am thinking the game within the game as often it is, is going to be at the faceoff X. From what I have seen, both teams have scrappy little FOGOs. Should be an entertaining one.
