Re: CABRINI 2024
Dear Cabrini, I love you. From the moment I stepped foot on your campus I knew you were my siren. Beautiful, but flawed. Intelligent, but occasionally under the influence. Like all my favorite things. At first, I found myself lost on your grounds. I was just a kid, I made mistakes. But you hardened ...

Re: Washington College 2024
You know, I think it's really hard to drive a new/unheralded program to success. There are lots of barriers; but, you don't have to deal with the historic expectations (inside and outside), alumni chatter, general impatience. I think it's harder to take one that reached the top and fell off, back up...

Re: ODAC 2024
Eastern and RMC were not better than YCP or W&L. But they both outworked the talent on the other side. Very impressive. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent, as the quote goes. Inspiring stuff. ““Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard” -Tim Notke” - MVPiccoli Well sa...

What a nightmare.

Watched the play live and then replayed it several times on Hulu. Kid was moving right away. Freak landing.

Re: W&L 2024
You know, losses are such teachers. If you embrace them. It's not even losing the game, but your matchup or your performance. I remember putting up a stinker of a game after staying up all night for a capstone course. It was a May conference game, we won. I shed tears afterwards. It's weird what sti...

On a far more serious note, it was announced that Stevenson alum and PLL player Callum Robinson, his brother, and a friend are reported missing since Sunday while on a surfing trip in Mexico. Thoughts and prayers for their safe return. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13373853/amp/Callum-Ja...

Re: CABRINI 2024
This roster can't fathom our beginning, they weren't born yet. They chose us around the time we reached the summit. Built on the back of cast offs, no names, and 2nd chances. Yet somehow, they embody us. All of us. I'm so impressed. Burn 'em.

Shocking result. Watched Eastern up close. They have plenty of skilled players, but are far from elite. Feel for the Spartan faithful. What a dagger.

Agree with DP. Foresee a Stevie/YCP final. Likely to see a fun game with Messiah though.

Lotta fight in those boys. Tough to beat a team twice in short order. They certainly competed hard.

Just for the sake of creating conversation while we still have college lacrosse to talk about...what would it take for Kean or Stockton to pull off the upset of the decade this week? Crazy things have happened before. I still remember when CNU got their first program win against Salisbury in '14, i...

Re: NESCAC
I've only interacted with NESCAC parents/fan bases on two occasions. Wesleyan and Amherst. NCAA games. Both were very positive IMO. Nothing out of turn. Complementing each others rosters and individual plays made. Tufts fan base's reputation is obviously different, but I haven't seen it to comment o...

Neumann on Wednesday. Initially, I thought Widener would benefit most from the closure in terms of local recruits. Perhaps it's the Knights. IDK if they have the coaching staff to take advantage of it. I never found the campus, location, or reputation appealing. But that was two decade's ago. They a...

Performance against W&L was really solid. Getting healthy and right is always a good thing. Auslander would be a joy to play with. Head is always up. He's seeing/baiting the rotations.

That was expected but still fun. Our boys played hard and enthusiastically competed. I doubt any words from this shallow place make their way to Coach, but if any of you know that man, tell him we are grateful for his commitment! As far as last regular season games go, I can’t think of a better way ...

Re: Centennial Conference 2024
As someone who's never really paid attention to Swarthmore before, is this the best they have ever been? What has been the driving factor to them seemingly breaking the top 10 out of no where? Is it coaching? A good senior class? It doesn't seem like they have one player dominating from what I've s...
