Re: RIT vs Tufts
I've watched both teams three times. With one being their H2H. Toss up IMO. Whoever has it that day. As much as I appreciate the consistency and greatness of Salisbury, it does feel refreshing when they aren't in the final. Hoping for a shoot out.

Re: CABRINI 2024
Reflecting on the season. Recalling the ECD video where our players stated their lofty goals. The opening day win against the Squirrels. Realizing they would be several tiers below the top teams after the Bugs. Watching them fight like crazy at Cortland. Let down against Catholic. Eastern win. AEC d...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
Toss up final in my eyes. RIT didn't boat race Tufts in that regular season match-up. Tufts is playing some incredible ball right now. RIT is the only other team that runs as well and possesses the offensive aggression/finishing capability in transition suited to stay with the Jumbos. Envisioning a ...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
Some of us just weren't/aren't good enough. Some of us came to the game late. Some of us are underexposed from a recruiting perspective. All of us are served well by the student/athlete experience. The only things D1 gives you over D3 after your playing days are over and (hopefully) your degree is i...

Re: Salisbury 2024
Shout out to the Salisbury broadcast team, they were very good all weekend. Appreciate watching guys who take it seriously and don’t just sound like they’re rooting for their buddies (or their buddies’ kids, depending on age). Amen to that! Well done. This Gulls squad will be asking themselves &quo...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
Fun to watch. He's got an extra gear. He got his hands free on sweeps and in transition just with pure speed.

Re: W&L 2024
IMO, the quality of that game would have been so much better if the boys weren't playing B2B days. Just nuts we do that as a division. You can't game plan, you can't recover. It's not a true test of program level capability. It's just who has the fresher legs. Wonderful effort by the Generals. Fun t...

Re: W&L 2024
Can your Generals be the bully? If they can establish a physical presence and finish their opportunities, anything can happen. 50/50 ground balls. Fill slides. Clears. De Cain has to have a day. In short answer...no W&L defense doesn't have the horses on defense to keep up with salisburys 1st m...

Re: CNU 2024
This is the best team they’ve ever had on paper. They will continue to be in the mix going forward but they missed out on a great opportunity if they don’t cash in now That 2022 team they had was pretty darn good. Still think they were the best team in the country that year but got upset by a great...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
Sooooo yeah, CNU by 600 over RIT. (read: 599 goals automatically assigned by the lax gods for their stewardship and class regarding their choice to send off my Cavs with love and grace, and one actual goal)

Re: Centennial Conference 2024
I think a lot of these CC schools are tough sells. Great educations, no doubt. Many of the CC schools are located in relatively dull PA towns. No NCs since 1998. It's not like the NESCAC where, yeah, you're gonna have to work incredibly hard for the conference championship, but if you survive the g...

Re: CNU 2024
My boys are/were 2 and like 25 against them. One bizarre OT game and one where our kids just kept punching. Berkman pegged Colf EARLY ON. Even when we had the horses like CNU has had, we were too transparent. Colf evolved a bit. He's quoted as saying one of his primary internal recruiting questions ...

Re: CABRINI 2024
Connor has to get picked up. Folks were talking RIT or the Gulls on this thread. Bear would contribute in a lot of programs. There are a fair amount whose parents indicated they were not planning to play lax anywhere else.

Re: CNU 2024
Institutional support, great coaching, great recruiting. Captains are set up to thrive. Matter of time before they play in an NC. Will always depend on seeding and some luck. They're blessed and cursed to play the Gulls 2x before the tournament. Let's you truly assess your capabilities and find area...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
I'd go Jumbos, Gulls, Panthers, Tigers. RIT at home? Can't see them losing by 5+, maybe in OT? Tufts is rolling. I think Bowdoin and Middlebury will be tightly contested. Gulls are gonna Gull. SJF 12 - Tufts 11 2OT''s The slipper still fits Salisbury 18 - W&L 6 Bowdoin 16 - Middlebury 8 CNU 16 -...
