Re: Landmark Conference 2024

Scranton raced out to a 9-4 halftime lead (at one point leading by a score of 9-1) and held on to withstand a comeback by Muhlenberg taking a 13-10 win. The Royals were led on offense with 5 goals apiece scored by attackmen Matthew McAree and Pat McCormack (his career high). McAree also added an as...

Re: NESCAC

Really like how coach Annino is getting in 2 non-conference games a full week and a half ahead of all NESCAC teams. Should build a solid trajectory for the Bobcats, then dovetail in conference opponents. A freshmen-friendly approach. That’s what I’m sayin What are you sayin? Nothing new here. Bates...

Clearly, the "writing across the curriculum" requirement at WC has payed dividends given the lengthier than average and moderated tone of the above posts. No Sophie Kerr prize winners here but great information and reading.

Re: NESCAC

Anyone have updates from today’s scrimmages? No updates but I heard Conn was scrimmaging Amherst next weekend. Probably a pretty good preview for two mid-tier 'cac teams to see where they are at! Weird that it's happening though. Don't coaches want to scrimmage out of conference teams? Most OOC tea...

Re: week 3 games of the week

Gettysburg @ Salisbury is a lock for game of the week. I think CNU, Dickinson, Lynchburg & York all win with ease, or are clear favorites. Great games, but not GOW So, that turns the page to Babson @ Union Union is 14-0 in the series, with a handful of close games But momentum @ Babson has been...

Re: week 3 games of the week

Definitely the game to watch.

Also if interest is Scranton vs Muhlenberg with both teams looking for a rebound win.

Re: Game of the Week; Lynchburg vs Gettysburg

Tough OT loss for Ducks. Got a defensive stop in OT, had a look after a timeout but turned it over. Faceoffs were a challenge as stevens only won a few. Sucks to lose the game but it was a great game. Dickinson is a very good team. Their fans are are really disrespectful. The Ducks should have a ve...

Re: Salisbury 2024

It was 15-2 going in to the 4th quarter. I can't imagine it has been a fun week for the Salisbury backups, after letting Grove City score 9 in the last 15 minutes. Gotta cut teeth at some point. If they score 30 we hear they’re “running the score up,” if they don’t play the bench it’s “those guys s...

Re: Game of the Week; Lynchburg vs Gettysburg

Another solid matchup Saturday is Dickinson at Stevens. A little chippy last season in Carlisle and this season has both teams in great shape personnel wise.

Re: NESCAC

The Rutgers guy is definitely at Trinity. I can't speak to how good he is but he played at Brunswick. Anyone who makes the varsity there should be at a bare minimum a strong contributor. Ditto for the UMBC guy who is also there and played at Salisbury. The Bryant guy also lists himself as being a m...

Re: Teams on the verge of something....

Kenyon is on the rise with young talent, and could be a problem for Denison this season and the next several. I would love to see this game in person. Both could upset some traditional powers if the opportunities come. RPI is once again strong, but I haven't seen them win consistently. If they final...
