Re: UNC 2025
Going to need at least 2-3 defenders from the portal if possible. Not worried about offense Wait a minute...isn't this the great UNC Tar-Heels? Why are you going to the Portal for players? Don't you get, year-in and year-out, some of the top HS talent in the country? So, why would you need the port...

Re: NCAA Tournament Games Scheduling Disgrace
I wouldn't bank on the full game replay's being available on ESPN+ or any other streaming service/app for that matter. These are nationally televised games broadcast on ESPNU. If you want to be certain sure about being able to watch the replay's you should record/DVR the games. This has been a publi...

Re: NCAA Tournament Games Scheduling Disgrace
I hear you. There are always individual scheduling issues. Ultimately--I'm not arguing for Thursday quarterfinals. I'd be fine if the day was Saturday or Sunday. For whatever reason, the Muckety-mucks decided the four exclusive time slots would work best on a Thursday. My main point is--I make do, ...

Re: NCAA Tournament Games Scheduling Disgrace
How you personally schedule your time to watch women’s lacrosse is entirely irrelevant. I’m sure the women care far more about their families , friends and young local players coming to support them, than you taking a day off work to perch in front of your tv. There is no way to justify Thursday be...

Re: Derogatory Posts
I'm a firm believer in "The truth will out". If two conflicting opinions about a person/program/whatever are written, it's usually clear which poster is coming with the truth and which one has an untruthful agenda. We see it on the politics boards all the time. I appreciate that Fanlax doe...

Re: 2024 Season Predictions
Lots of bad predictions going back to November! From preseason to postseason before final playoff rounds most overrated/overhyped: UNC, Denver, JMU, ND, Army, USC,Clemson,Duke Preseason unranked team made it to elite 8: Yale Teams that seemed ranked preseason strictly on previous year maybe not tak...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
It's all horseschidt. Right. In other words, you don't know jack. The only reason Levy, and anyone else for that matter, got involved in "safety" issues was because Mrs. Everson wanted a pound of flesh for what happened to her daughter at Kenneth P. LaValle. Levy, nor anyone else, would h...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
Yea that’s a 5 game suspension easy. Surely Coach Levy being all things safety will respond appropriately The only reason Levy, and anyone else for that matter, got involved in "safety" issues was because Mrs. Everson wanted a pound of flesh for what happened to her daughter at Kenneth P....

Re: NCAA Tournament Games Scheduling Disgrace
THE PREMIER day? On a Thursday? At noon on a work day?? There’s no way to make that sound better no matter how you phrase it. As a former player I remember my quarterfinals fondly.. on a SATURDAY in May. And while the girls should absolutely be televised to the same extent as the men’s game, who ca...

Re: NCAA Tournament Games Scheduling Disgrace
I disagree with this topic. The start times have improved much since just a few years ago. Obviously there could be improvements made but the women folk in D1 have done a pretty decent job at making their games more accessible to watch. Coming up Thursday is THE premier day in women's lacrosse as ea...

Re: OuttaNowhereWregget--Redux
I always appreciate the teams (except Towson, of course) who wear their typical road colors rather than the alternate black uniforms. They're all so ugly. Whose idea was it to make black an alternate uniform color, anyway?

Re: 2024 Women’s Tewaaraton Watch List
You have to remember that every team game plans for Scane and she gets the other teams best defender or two. Tewey committee has to look beyond stats in the future and even consider defenders - too many players on average teams playing tons of minutes and putting up insane stats. Put them on Top 4 ...
