Re: UNC 2024

"Game tomorrow in Chapel Hill is nearing a sellout. Not sure I remember being at a game in the last few yrs when it was even close. Hoping that means big energy from the crowd which motivates the Heels, because I think they do need this one for any chances at the post-season." Don't know ...

Re: UNC 2024

Looking at the 2024 bracketology topic on this web site obviously UNC is nowhere to be found on any current "prediction." Facing Army Saturday, with Army coming off its first loss and seeking to get back on track is going to be a tough one for UNC. After losing to Hopkins by four at home U...

Re: Maryland 2024

Watching the Virginia v Maryland game. How can Maryland be playing in a football stadium? Still? Are they the only "major" D1 program to play ina football stadium? The school doesn't have the moeny for a lacrosse stadium?

Re: UNC 2024

Also, UNC opened the season beating Mercer and Fairfield, which also doesn't help SOS. Three "tough" games so far and they lost two of them.

Re: At Large Predictions based on RPI, SOS and Quality Wins

Looking at today's NCAA RPI rankings the Big East should be getting two bids, playoff champ and one at-large.

Re: Bill Tierney Retiring After The 2023 Season!

The people complaining about Tierney’s sideline behavior should probably take a look at Jay Wright’s behavior on the sidelines (and sometimes on the court) at Villanova games. Both equally deplorable, but they both did it to gain an advantage on the field/court. They wore down refs to the point tha...

Do you really think Tierney's continuing to coach for the money?

He loves coaching, it's his life.

My guess is DU will play Duke and UNC over the same period, like Friday-Sunday or Thursday Saturday/Sunday. Why make two trips to North Carolina?

Sources: Gary Gait To Be Named Next Syracuse Coach

Gary Gait, widely regarded as the best player in lacrosse history, will be the fifth men’s lacrosse coach in Syracuse’s 106-year history, multiple sources have told Inside Lacrosse. Outreaches to Syracuse and Gait were not immediately returned. Gait will replace John Desko, a 1979 Orange lacrosse al...
