Zapp covers PK for sure.

The Terps team I saw today can definitely beat the ND team I saw today,

the question is depth - ND has more.

Re: UNC 2024

Its silly not to think schools aren’t taking advantage of the vagueness of NIL for lacrosse, that’s what markets do, hopefully non-top three conferences aren’t waiting for clear definitions of NIL - its really just one extra funding source - before they take advantage as well, if they aren’t already.

Re: CAA 2025

Hens made correct move,

CAA has made some hyper poor decisions.

10 years ago, the CAA was on par, just below the top conferences, of course, no B1G then - but top 3,4.

Now the CAA is bottom 2,3.

Re: Atlantic 10 2024

Not a single top xx rated incoming freshman for the A-10 - although there are actually some real solid names on that list. Hens though do have a top 50 freshman for 2025, and likely a top 100 for 2024. Not that the raters get things correct or anyone should rely on the raters, but odds are getting a...

Re: Next Programs To Win National Titles For The First Time?

Every college lacrosse Natty champion is one of the blue bloods b/c it is the only college sport where the playing field is not level, how can a program like a Nova expect to compete every season with only 10 scholarships & one of the smallest rosters in Div 1 If a small school like Loyola coul...

Re: CAA 2025

Hens leave after next year to the A-10. How long do Tigers stick around ? Fairfield's game has picked up, but every year it'll be the same - RPI gets shot to 'ell during CAA play so whoever wins the CAA will get the play-in or the #2 seed. So when do Tigers bail for greener pastures (America East?) ?

Ok, so Torpey sounds like a terrific guy and a decent coach, but who has HPU beaten or upset over the years? Simon Connor at Nova has been a part of a huge # of upsets over the last 5 years, all I am sayin 2019 HPU beat Duke and UVA That was an exciting team. Then they tanked against St John's or t...

Very unusual.
But a good call.

Adler could just as well have been the Player of the Year as a defenseman, also.

Re: Atlantic 10 2024

High Point had a 77 man roster this past season.
They should have 22 seniors leaving. There are 19 incoming recruits, and there are supposedly 12 in the transfer portal.

If all goes according to plan, High Point could be down to a "reasonable" roster of 62 for 2024-2025.

The only thing preventing it is that (and I'm sorry to have to be the one to let everybody here know) nobody who matters cares about lacrosse. So nobody with $13M to toss around is going to blow it on enhancing a sport that will only lead to questions from hot women at cocktail parties of "isn...

Maybe he can pull a Vince Lombardi.
There's a core of talent there for sure.

Just, they'll need to institute the Power Sweep.
