The simple reason to speed the game up is TV. If you want to see more women’s lacrosse on TV it needs to be no longer than 2 hrs. That is the bases for almost all of the rule changes.

The average roster across all 3 divisions is closer to 20 players per team. There is a lot of room in college lacrosse for '21 & '22 graduates.
