Re: 2024
Snippet from an article in the Post: “Advisers say Trump is determined to hire Manafort, likely handing him a substantial role at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, because he appreciates that his onetime campaign chairman has remained loyal to him even while serving in prison.” Mob b...

Re: Israel and Zionism
I do not recall the National Review advocating for a complete withdrawal from Afghanistan. I believe they endorsed leaving the residual force that Biden's military & Intel chains of command recommended. From the NR link cited above : America’s presence in Afghanistan was a relatively low-cost a...

Re: ivy league 2024
Exactly. I had the same reaction to the ND "snub" in 2022. It doesn't matter how many 5 stars recruits you have on the roster, or that you won your last three games. The entire season matters. Every game. Win more games and you will make the tournament. I wouldn't change that. It can't be...

Re: #7 Maryland vs Princeton Saturday @ 7:30
Maryland won by 5 early in the year. Princeton had a lot of guys seeing playing time for the first time in their careers. A lot of player development has taken place since then and offensive and def rotations have been settled. Maryland won by 6. You make it seem like Princeton hadn't played anyone...

Re: #7 Maryland vs Princeton Saturday @ 7:30
As HopFan16 said, face-offs. Maryland won 21 of 24 in the Terps-Tigers game earlier this year. Princeton has improved a lot since that game, and McKeekin has looked strong in some games; the Tigers need to neutralize Wierman to have a realistic chance of winning. need to put it in perspective thoug...

Re: ivy league 2024
FFS, stop the b*tching and whining. If more Ivy teams had won more games, they would have made the tourney. You sound like a bunch of ACC fans. Yes. Win more games. I don’t think any other Ivy League team “deserved” to be in the tournament. I was mildly surprised that Princeton wasn’t seeded and Ge...

Re: ivy league 2024
Ivy League fan here through and through. Reality is that the NCAA Tournament doesn't need more games. While the sport has grown exponentially over the past 20-30 years, the number of D1 teams has grown more modestly. Until the number of colleges and universities playing the sport increases signific...

Re: Conservative Ideology: A Big Lie
Is this the country we want to live in?? Red states threaten librarians with prison — as blue states work to protect them Sam Lee, a leader of the Connecticut Library Association, heads to work these days torn between hope and fear. She’s encouraged because legislators in her state proposed a bill ...

Re: Transfer Portal 2025
Breschi seemed to shy away from the one-and-done transfers the past few years. Guess urgency to save your job will change that. Regardless, Dupuis looks like a really good QB; something UNC has needed the past couple years. Logan McGovern People said he was a QB, but I never really saw it. Always s...
