That's my preference. With one time-out per team.

Re: Cornell 2024

I don't agree on Milliman. His resume was no thinner than Tambroni's or DeLuca's or Kerwick's at the time of his elevation to HC, and Andy Noel still stuck him with an interim tag for the first year (which I thought was an idiotic move: either commit or run an immediate search!). And a good coach le...

Re: 2024 top 20

What I don't like is the inclusion of SOS in addition to RPI. SOS is already included in the RPI calculation. No reason to double count it. Prior to 2009, not only was SOS double counted, it was the official top criterion . The criteria were ranked in order of importance, and SOS was #1. This led t...

Re: TV Broadcasts/Announcers/Production

Yes, the fact that so many games are viewable now is amazing. I'm old enough to remember being out here on the West Coast, and my only source of lax info was a short list of scores in the Sunday New York Times at the library.

And I walked miles through snow to school too!

Re: Cornell 2024

Fix is kinda a tragic figure: he reached and then lost the national championship match every year for 4 years, the only NCAA wrestler in history to do so.

That said, Vito clearly won the match, which had a zillion delays for blood and for video reviews.

bearlaxfan wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2024 4:40 pm Was there an illegal stick in this game? Did someone get Daly-ed or did the refs see it?
Refs saw it. They were all over it immediately after the goal (which was taken off).

And FWIW I completely endorse playing by the rules. If Daly saw an illegal stick, his duty was to challenge it.

Re: UMass @ Brown-Friday Afternoon At 3:00 PM

I went back and watched it; it seems like the ref puts up two fingers The ref first put up 2 fingers, indicating player number 2, then 1 finger, indicating 1 minute. This is the standard ref call: infracting player's number and color, infraction, minutes, and locked in (if locked in). Here is the o...
