Re: 2024 Coaching Carousel

These will be interesting hires. Think the best job is Benedictine based on the recent history and returning roster.

2024 - 2025 Season

Way to early post for the 2024/2025 season. Looks like Benedictine and MoBap are looking for new coaches. What does this mean for these programs going forward? Other changes at the top? Rumor is a WHAC school and University of St. Mary programs are done and won’t be back. Anyone have more info on t...

Re: SCAD

SCAD 3-2 this year and while all three wins so far have been by 1 or 2 the program does seem to be on the upswing. Still a long way to go to hit the top level of the AAC but moving in a positive direction at this point non the less.

Re: 2024 Scores

Florida Atlantic (MCLA D2) over Webber 12-11 in OT.
How'd Reinhardt do against Kennesaw State?
Saw that Lenoir-Rhyne beat up on D1 Queens 16-6.
Did Reinhardt at least look better than that?

2024 Scores

Keiser over Lynn 16-12 I believe in an "exhibition" this past weekend. If I am wrong please correct me.

How did Reinhardt do against Lenoir-Rhyne?

NAIA playing MCLA

Am I missing anyone below who is NAIA but plays MCLA? Arizona Christian Idaho Southern Oregon Westcliff All these belong to the Cascade Conference as does Multnoma who if I recall ended up doing away with their team this year. What are the odds of another couple teams out west forming and then playi...

Re: PLL 2024

Anyone else roll their eyes when they say "home" teams?
All this means is you get one weekend a year.
That is of course better than no weekends but hardly makes a "home" team.

Re: New Programs

The Life transfers are interesting -- a quick 20 minutes of work on the internets and it's even more interesting. Mercer transfer looks legit and played a lot his last year there which was when he was junior. Is either a graduate or senior this year and can't find that he played last year. Quinnipia...

Re: NAIA 2023 Rumors

Looks like he's at Belmont Abbey (NCAA D2) now https://opendorse.com/profile/christian-tomei Second year in a row that Keiser has a 1st class goalie, then he leaves for a D2 school. Two years ago was Cole George who went to Post and now Tomei to Belmont Abbey. You wonder if that's something that Ke...

Re: PLL 2023
truly believe that this league will succeed if investors are patient and willing to increase funding and marketing
Serious question. Does anyone know if the league is anywhere close to being profitable? They are paying the players more than the MLL did and offering health insurance...

Webber has owned St Andrews for about a decade now.
If St Andrews is in trouble does this affect Webber?

Re: RIP Cabrini

Outsider here so not familiar with the entirety of the situation. Read that financials have been a problem for a while. Stupid question but are the financial issues simply caused by lack of and or decreasing enrollment? If so, it's interesting that many smaller more conservative Catholic schools are...

Re: 2021 Coaching Carousel

This would put the Sun Conference with 4 men's lacrosse teams: Webber, Keiser, SCAD and now New College. Any chance of another two other adding and getting full fledged conference? If so this would put the AAC down to 6 although on their website they have Union listed for the 23/24 season. Any one k...

Re: Lacrosse’s Pinnacle is Memorial Day, not Pro

Not a box fan really so won't comment on the NLL, although most cities do draw well it seems and makes it more viable I think. Not a fan of the PLL. No city teams, low shot clock, small field, players not wearing pads etc. doesn't do it for me. What they do have going for them though seems to be the...
