Re: NCAA Tournament 2024

If only there was a resource where you could look this up, instead of guessing... Oh wait, there is. Google it. 32 players, plus 5 more for a total of 37 in the official travel party. 13 others can be in the bench area, 2 or which must be medical personnel. You can find it all here: https://www.ncaa...

Re: ODAC 2024

Total outsider to the situation and regiment, but, sometimes the fix for poor shooting is a break from shooting. Let your CNS recover. It's always tempting when you're in a slump to grab a bucket and try to find it. Personally, I would do that, and no one coached me out of it. The opposite was true...

Re: Cleats vs Turfs

My daughter tore her ACL her freshman college season wearing cleats on matted down/old field turf. She was dodging from the top, planted her right foot and went went to cut left and her right knee just gave out. Watching the film it looked like her cleats caught on the turf. I bought her turf shoes...

Re: ODAC 2024

Some key games now in the ODAC. W&L has faced and beaten HSC and Lynchburg to date. Roanoke still remains for a Tuesday night game against the Generals. After watching Roanoke whip HSC, I’d be concerned about this game and worry about CNU later. Hope the Generals stay focused. The big concern n...

Re: W&L 2024

Great game by Spano and DeCain. In our haste to be wowed by first years, let's not forget the contributions of Ott and Smith tonight. The strength of the team last year was their depth and Senior leaders. This game showed that it may be the case this year as well. Enjoyed listening to the Lynchburg ...

Re: LA 2028

How will the team be picked? Will USLacrosse be involved? Or will US Olympic committee take control. The politics behind the scene might be a fun story to follow. Interesting question . Every college coach has some bias. But not sure how else they would choose teams ?? USL is the National Governing...

Brennan in this years class and Matson next year, both playing football and lacrosse. Brennan’s a WR so my hope is that there’s enough left of him come spring. Tough physically for a freshman it’s a big challenge. Academically playing 2 sports time management is huge. Hoping the frat scene can be m...

Re: All Things Environment

Imagine living in an America where we have hundreds of thousands of vehicles catch fire, causing billions of dollars in damage every single year... Oh wait, we're already there. Plus, you know, all the extra greenhouse gas emissions from ICE cars. Maybe you should first understand how simple and qu...

Re: SCOTUS

No elite school that is serious about diversity efforts can justify keeping their legacy preferences. Not really. Just doesn't work that way. Legacy preferences, of course, mostly admit white, wealthy, suburban kids with good test scores and grades. But the kids who get squeezed out by the legacy k...

Unfortunately not. The schools that are offering to transfer credits directly are Holy Family University in Philadelphia, Gwynedd Mercy University in Gwynedd Valley, and Eastern University in St. Davids.

Re: W&L 2023

I hope coaches and players are at the Lynchburg/ HSC game. Looks like Lynchburg is peaking at the right time of year. Hoping the Generals can match the focus and intensity the Hornets are playing with in the ODAC tournament. Total dominance tonight Just a heads up, coaches are not allowed to live s...

Since apparently this wasn't obvious, this kid says stuff like this all the time. He's trying to be a TikTok influencer. The eye black "drip" thing is a stupid running meme. He wasn't actually kicked out of the game. In other words, what this face-off guy is purporting never happened. In ...

Re: All Things Russia & Ukraine

So, we should expect that water to be cut off again, as long as Russia holds Crimea illegally. Yes, I meant the Ukrainians crossing the river may be better off crossing elsewhere, not directly through Kherson, then encircling the eastern side of the city...Russians would need to leave entirely in t...
