Does Brown look at Chris Wojcik?
Notre Dame’s offense has been a juggernaut and their man up is unstoppable.
I know his tenure at Harvard was inconsistent, but he did lead them to an Ivy championship.

Re: UVA 2024
Lars missing Kerwin? I think it's more whether this team is built the same way in terms of being dominant at the specialist positions. In the 2019 and 2021 seasons -- even aside from the enormous talent on the roster -- the Hoos were well-constructed for a post-season run with a great "playoff...

Re: MERCYHURST TO GO D1
I think you’ll be seeing more and more programs follow on this path, whether it’s a wise decision or not. A lot of these college admins see D2 as a wasteland. A lot more money to field a competitive team than in D3 with nearly as many schollies as D1, with a fraction of the reach of a D1 athletics ...

Re: Opening week thoughts?
Anyone watch the Southern vs. Montevallo game? Any insight on what happened? Shocking that Southern beats Wingate last week and then loses in OT to Montevallo. I watched it. I was pretty shocked at that game. The first quarter was all Montevallo. Montevallo won probably 80% of the faceoffs and the ...

Re: Opening week thoughts?
Division 2 now runs through the south. LR looks to be the team to beat again, sharp on offensive for the start of February. Florida Southern is definitely a tournament contender and looking at last year and this game for Wingate looks like people have learned to limit their 2 main guys and theres n...

Was told RIT beat Mercyhurst and Canisius rather convincingly.
Gaston and Pilcher scored in bunches.

Mercyhurst starters apparently were up on Cleveland St and beat Denison.

Not hearing good things out of Mercyhurst.
“Chris Ryan was working miracles with the budget and coaching salary.”
Expect an underwhelming hire.

Saw Gravino a bunch, being from WNY. He reminds me a lot of Adam Dimillo.
Athletic, tough 2 way Middie.
Don’t know what UMD’s DMid situation is, but I could see Gravino being used on the face off wings.

Re: Coaching Carousal
Wow, no more Chris Ryan. Erie is a tough place to sell, so it will be an interesting applicant pool. But obviously Ryan proved you can build a consistent contender at Mercyhurst. Team seems to returning a good chunk with AA's Gleason, McCard, Morley and Landymore. So the cupboard isn't bare for the ...

Re: Coaching Carousel 2023 - D1
Cuse should be interviewing Jake Coon HC RIT. He brings everything thet need to the table. He coached the UMASS D when they went to the title game. He is an excellent goalie coach. He is a CNY/WNY guy. He is excellent with recruiting and people. He recruits the kind of player GG likes. Great connec...

Re: MOUNT ST MARYS 2023
All seems very quiet on the coaching front here, any whispers as to who might be in the running I am wondering the same thing. Wondering if it may be at least another month due to the new AD's tenure not officially beginning until then. Friend on the board of trustees says the following New AD is g...

Re: RIP Cabrini
Sad day. The 2019 Semifinal game vs. Salisbury was like a heavyweight boxing match. Both teams went punch for punch, with Cabrini just having more in the tank. 21 NCAA invites for the men 18 NCAA invites for the women, just behind Gettysburg in terms of Pennsylvania schools. Cabrini is the last Penn...

Essentially they are a D1 program with a D2 budget and D2 coaches pay.

Without Le Moyne, the North is in flux. 1. Mercyhurst 2. Adelphi 3. Seton Hill 4. Mercy 5. Saint Anselm 6. Bentley 7. Pace 8. Frostburg From a Rochester perspective, Hurst had been out recruiting Le Moyne in WNY and CNY for the last 2 years. That is a first and I expect their surge to continue. It s...
