Re: Notre Dame 2024
Kavanagh must be jealous of Faison and wants to be a two-sport athlete as well... practicing for soccer tryouts. No doubt they are phenomenal lacrosse players, but these theatrics have to stop. Last thing we need are young players flailing about trying to draw a flag. He very cleared faked an injur...

Re: Notre Dame 2024
"history of that"? Guy has played hurt and through rough injuries. Might recall him banged up vs. Duke last year's final. This carping about these guys is cheap, and petty. They are leaders of the most team-oriented and best coached team in the sport. Don’t even bother. A bunch of sour gr...

Re: Syracuse 2024
I'm still frustrated about the no call on the man down clear in the game yesterday. It wasn't an egregious penalty, but it still needed to be a tripping call. Totally changed the momentum of the game. How can you expect a player to proceed when the opposing team's player dives on their legs? At leas...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
Why does everyone keep dismissing the fact that the goalie should be making more saves?? What’s the point of having a hardworking defense if the goalie can’t do his job once in awhile?! You think the goalie is the problem? Yes. He is part of the problem. Absolutely. Definitely not part of the probl...

Re: Michigan 2024
If you go into the game with the strategy of not switching on picks then your on ball defenseman needs to know how to get over or under a pick. Likewise the off ball defenseman needs to recognize when his teammate is going to get hung up on the pick and switch anyway. Yikes.

Good read, if you haven't already. Talking about two of the best, but mentions athleticism and how important wing play is/was:

Re: Possible face-off changes
A game decided because one guy can clamp a ball better then another guy is pretty stupid when you think about it. This is the part that continues to frustrate me... those that think/believe the clamp is what determines winning the faceoff and/or the game. It's one factor, but by no means leads to c...

Re: Possible face-off changes
as opposed to admitting the 32 second rule was a mistake, and simply rolling it back to say, 42..... rabil is now banning the longpole. in the pll. where everything goes. be prepared for more banning at the faceoff x. it has most obviously had a target on its back for a long time. I don’t like the ...

Re: Possible face-off changes
:!: Elite clampers get paid well. College coaches would rather spend that money on players who are on the field all of the time. Proposal was supported by a significant majority of D1 coaches I would refer back to my original post, the majority of college coaches voted to ban the faceoff in 1979 an...
