Re: FIT
Another heart stopping victory for the Panthers! These guys are rolling and proving they can close out against the best competition. Qualified for SSC and possibly a home game. Go, Panthers!

Re: UTampa
After an hour rain delay, they had Another back and forth battle, highlighted by tremendous G play on both sides. A few more mistakes made on the FIT side was the difference; turnovers and penalties. These guys may play a third time, never know.

And if FIT wins, where do they go in the ranking? They have the 6th SOS.

Close one, but FIT takes down Mesa 16-15. Justin Williams sets FIT record for career assists in the process. Hulsman with 18 saves. Great game.

Re: FIT
Tremendous effort in 2OT loss after leading the whole way. I say they get UT when they come to Melbourne. FIT is a legit contender.

Re: FIT
Decent crowd on a windy Monday in Wilmington. FIT not as sharp as they were on Saturday, but scoring from everywhere and got another big win. Rolling into Tampa next weekend. Boom!

Re: FIT
A huge crowd at US Lacrosse HQ last night saw FT dismantle Seton Hill. They dominated both ends with stifling defense and great goalie play. The offense looked crisp and fast in transition. It was a beat down.

Re: FIT
They drummed Flagler as expected, even with early 1q possession issues. 2 weeks to prepare for another ranked opponent in Seton.

Re: FIT
An excellent OT win for the cats against a ranked BA team. New coach hanging out stage left taking notes. Wynne had them fighting to the end. Jitters in first quarter went away and the team looked good on both sides. Monday is another big test!

Re: FIT
Coach Penn had 70 kids on the roster. Recruiting was not a problem. They were winning, so that’s not the problem. The new AD hired a friend, we’ll see if that’s a problem.

Re: Sunshine State Conference (SSC)
Despite the coach turmoil over the holidays, FIT has some top notch experienced players starting on both sides of the ball. And depth. The grad transfers come over with years of game experience, and although I am biased, they came from MD and the mid Atlantic where lacrosse reigns supreme. Can’t wai...

Well, the boys don’t know what happened either at this point. But they are happy with Wynne and he has been communicating with the parents so the team will move forward and make the best of it.

Re: FIT
Yes, the team has practice everyday being run by the interim coach, Wynne. They have lots of veteran leadership that know what to do and how to practice. A unique situation they are making the best of. Hey, at least it’s a Florida and they aren’t shoveling off the field!

Re: Coaching Carousel
Right the ship?? You don’t know what you are talking about. Coach Penn had the program running really well, instilled a great winning culture and had the kids believing. It’s a travesty what happened to him and the program. Joss is the problem.

Re: FIT
New AD clearly wants to bring in his own guys. Had the mass email and text sent out before he even told the coach in their one on one meeting Thursday. Coach has 2 kids on the team and they find out via text their dad has “resigned”. Exact words in the message AD sent. In reality, he fired him. No r...

Why in the world won’t Salisbury allow 2 visiting team parents to come into the stadium for the playoffs? This is beyond overreaching if they are hiding behind Covid nonsense. What is the rationale?
