Re: NESCAC
Funny to think about a road that was too tough for Salisbury/Wesleyan/St. Lawrence being viewed as an easy run, but it definitely was. Only team I’d push back on is W&L: no one lucks into outplaying Salisbury on their own field the way they did. Tufts‘ first three games though…complete cakewalk...

Re: W&L 2024
No disrespect to W&L; they are a good, solid team, but not great. However, they have absolutely no shot tonight. They haven’t experienced the pressure that Tufts will put on them. The level of athleticism is simply different. Tufts will come out hot and dominate early on. A well rested Tufts is...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
Elite 8 will have some excellent games! Where are the games going to be played? I assume Salisbury will host their side of the bracket. Anyone know where the other side of the bracket will play host for elite 8 and final 4? I would think that RIT would be the host site since they were the #1 sed in...

Re: Liberty League 2024
Honestly, would love to see RIT in final. Had to add to this trifecta post. Good luck to ALL LL teams.

Re: NESCAC
I'm curious about the state of the Jumbos locker room. The team has lots of talent, but doesn't seem to have the heart or mentality of prior teams. They've had so many close NESCAC games, including against Colby who they really should have smashed given their record. Losing to Hamilton in the confe...

Re: NESCAC
Guys - lets keep this to lax. All the BS is painful. The trolling, the personal attacks etc is just wrong. This is about lax. If people want to analyze play then that is fine but the insults are just stupid. Lets talk about tufts-amherst and how Wes upset threw a wrench in the NESCAC tournament. Tu...

Re: NESCAC
Random yet somewhat related to the previous posts: There are 8 William’s (or Billy’s) on the Midd roster. Has anybody ever seen a first name dominate a roster like that? EIGHT dudes with the same name seems crazy. The rumors are that Billy uses his soft lips for extra curricular activities Why don’...

Re: NESCAC
Just heard some interesting rumors from one of my good buddies who's a men's assistant hockey coach at Middlebury, he was telling me how he overheard their athletic director complaining about how playing a 6:30 pm on Trinity's campus would pose an unfair advantage to the Panthers. Apparently, they ...

things are getting tight. lots of parody in the top 25. looks to be Salisbury, then everyone else. i would argue that anyone in the top 25 can beat anyone else (except Salisbury) Salisbury RPI St Lawrence RIT Dickinson Wesleyan Tufts Swarthmore Union Stevens W&L Amherst Gettysburg Babson CNU Ly...

Re: Liberty League 2024
Man, what’s with the hatred for RPI? You know, it’s funny… the team beats them 2 out of 3 times in the regular season the past three years as the underdog. Granted, RIT has been dominate in all of D3 lacrosse but to dismiss RPI and what they have done is laughable and juvenile in a way. If you’re a...

Re: Liberty League 2024
There record vs good teams was 7-0. Three of their seven wins are against 0-8 Springfield (by one goal), 3-6 Muhlenberg, and a 4-4 Clarkson team that doesn't have a single win over even an average opponent. Come on. Liberty League fan here and your point is valid. Someone opined “why is Union ranke...

Re: Liberty League 2024
I am a fan of the teams in the Liberty League but I can't understand why the question of whether it is the best league in DIII is constantly a subject of conversation. Same for NESCAC folks too. I mean you are arguing to an echo chamber more or less. The only thing I can think of is how Pool B team...

Re: Mustang Classic 24
It kind of shows you what the NCAA tournament could be without Pool B Nailed it, imagine York not in the NCAA tournament with all the close games they’ve had ( perhaps 4-5 ) one goal games. Salisbury, Tufts are still top 2 in my book. I know RIT beat Tufts but I think RIT with a ton of 5th years ha...

Re: CNU 2024
Heart break OT loss vs a great St. Lawerence team. Not sure what happened in the 3rd Quarter as the captains looked lost on defense and did not execute at all on offense. Looks like coach Thompson was on the field trying to get a time out called in OT but the refs weren’t granting it with ball loos...

Re: York 2024
Unlike some “elitist” programs that start late, never venture out of their comfort zone, York can be proud of developing a consistent winner and their day will come. Funny comment, please expand on what you mean, would love to read. STFU Troll. You know exactly what I mean so let’s not pretend you ...

Re: York 2024
Major props to the Spartans. They gave my Tigers all they could handle. Goalie play for York was outstanding and their close D played their nuts off. Nothing but respect for York and the schedule they have put together. Now go out next weekend and take down Salisbury. Unlike some “elitist” programs ...

Re: NCAC 2024
Just saw the Denison v RIT score. Yikes. Welcome to the new season. Anyone see it? Since this is a NCAC thread, I’ll let the Denison faithful who observed the game offer in-depth analysis. Simply put, it was the first game for both teams on a brutal afternoon weather wise in Ohio. RIT returns nine ...

Re: #1 Duke Vs #3 Notre Dame National Championship- 05/29 @ 1:00 PM
Hard to understand what #20 is doing there. Duke may be the “dirtiest” lax team I’ve seen in awhile. They are head hunting and it isn’t even close. What the heck. Play hard, but leave the head hunting to the thugs in professional football. At least the refs are assessing the full unreleasable on th...
