Re: Washington College 2020
I might agree about the number of coaches. I do not agree about college administrations affecting what is put on the field or court. Like everything else it is a top down proposition. I also do not agree that the men coming in have all the fundamentals down. It is not true. Think about all of the b...

Re: Centennial Conference 2020
I had missed the win vs York, that bumps it up a bit. Stevenson is a good team, but for the past few years they have not been as dominant as they were a few years back. The win vs York is nice. Still don't think either team is top 10...maybe 15 for Ursinus and 18-20 for Dickinson at best at the end ...

Re: Centennial Conference 2020
I'm not sure I would even be so optimistic about those two teams, I think top 10 is overrated for both...seems like Stevens outplayed Dickinson who got bailed out by their goalie. Also Ursinus wins haven't been too impressive. One goal win vs Stevenson and a 5 goal win vs Mary Washington doesn't exa...

Re: PLL Should Stop the Fighting
Simple rule: first fight expelled from game and next (without pay). Second fight expelled from league. That will clean this up, not sure league will survive without fans attending games. But i will not bring my kids to what they are doing now. Do you think that the number of people who will avoid g...

Re: PLL Should Stop the Fighting
Seems to work for hockey...I think it shows these guys are all in and are competitive. It's a physical game, if the league wants to allow fighting I have no problem with it. If they don't, I have no problem with that either. I do agree with thatsmell that it has been sloppy though...they need to pra...

Re: Mustang Classic March 15-16
Middlebury taking it to Dickinson so far, #11 for the Devils has been taking way too many ill advised shots leading to an easy save or turnover. Need to be more selective Dickinson has looked terrible all over the field. Bad shots and lazy passes offensively, losing GB all over the fiels, can't cle...

I think picking your 8th best team in the NESCAC to beat the 8th ranked team in the country is a giveaway

Re: Mustang Classic March 15-16
14-9 Dickinson final - sloppy game both sides lot of turnovers. Denison 14/26 clearing was killer as well as losing the GB battle 40 to 26

Re: ODAC
Thought Noke looked pretty decent in the game vs. Dickinson. Had a lot of good opportunities, Dickinson goalie had some nice saves. The Dickinson shooters came out firing though and seemed to have Davies number all day, but they have a few guys who can let it fly. Devils up early in the first quarte...

Re: Top 20 Ranking D3
Would not expect Gburg to drop outside of 15, Cabrini beat Dickinson by a similar score and both basically didn't move. Drop a few spots at most.Nothinbutthelax wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 8:35 pm Nice win by NOKE over Stevens.
York over G-Burg holding them to 6 and hung 14...
Both should fall outside 15..

Re: MLL, Who is left?
Why do you keep valuing direct observation ("go and LOOK") of a small sample size over national trends with real numbers published by third party groups with no interest in lacrosse? This is the sports equivalent of saying I ate today so world hunger isn't real.

Re: MLL, Who is left?
So you're using your anecdotal evidence instead of actual evidence to form your opinions, got it. Also, not sure why you decided to use the professional lacrosse forum to rant about what is coming off as a personal vendetta against club programs, but it isn't super relevant. You seem to have a minor...

Re: Centennial Conference 2019
Here is where I would rank the teams at this point in the season Top Tier 1. Gburg - I'm not sure getting shelled by Salisbury is a reason to count them out...they return their top 8 leading scorers they will figure out. Letting up 17 is the bigger concern, losing two starting poles and goalie has h...
