Re: UNC 2024 Injuries
Big fan of field hockey or basketball for my young laxers. The late great iaamfan told me that field hockey and basketball were the best sports to prepare for lacrosse. Had never heard about gymnastics being good training for lacrosse. Interesting. From what little I know about the sport, it sounds...

Re: UNC 2024 Injuries
What an odd way to phrase that. UNC isn’t injuring their players. They’re getting injured.

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
We need better defensive play for the second half, can’t even think abt next year without Nalls and Hall. I think Zenk can get that starting spot if she lives up to the hype, Nelson needs to improve before she gets a starting spot Well the wheels are off for UNC. I concede defeat. Wow. Embarrassing...

Re: ACC Tournament - Seeds, schedule and thoughts
Playing 21 year old attackers entire game which for them is about 30 min of movement should not lead to major fatigue. They also get endless breaks for draws, quarters, TO's etc. Same is true for defenders. BC just a faster team and they wore down Cuse attackers with their endless pressure. Same tr...

Re: ACC Tournament - Seeds, schedule and thoughts
Interesting commentary about playing time and getting starters out- for SU. Going to be 80 in Cary Sunday. ND and BC are not used to playing in heat, let alone warmth. If by interesting commentary you mean, WHY IN THE F DID TREANOR LEAVE HER STARTERS IN UNTIL ONLY MINUTES LEFT IN THE BLOW OUT??? Th...

Re: WLAX Bracketology
Seeding talk Based on this weekend's results, I think #1 and #2 are pretty solid, well 3-8 may as well be a crap shoot. Here is my take of seedings as of now. (Keep in mind this is where I think seeding will end up, not what I necessarily believe they should be) 1. NW 2. BC 3. Cuse 4. Penn 5. ND 6....

Re: Coaching Carousel 2024
Cannot believe it is that time of year again. Here we are. Florida State is on deck and posted their position again this week. Have at it folks. Play nicely. Calling out LaxDadMax again! Come on man...give us your scoop! The following coaches were interviewed. Brian Spallina Chris Robinson, former ...

Re: ACC Tournament - Seeds, schedule and thoughts
:!: ñ Will throw my thought in on the KT weight loss. Notice an engagement ring on her that I've never noticed before...advertising it. Wedding coming up soon? Sure is typical of a woman to want to lose weight for her wedding day. Just a guess. She's also for the first time in what 15 years not tra...

Someone needs to remind Cuse that the draw & dump only works when the player is open

Re: ACC Tournament - Seeds, schedule and thoughts
Syracuse over UVA 15-14. BC over Notre Dame 13-12. Can't wait. Wow, am thinking along the same lines. UVA looked mighty good to me in their last game (v UNC) and I didn't think Cuse was at their finest in theirs (1 of 4 on FPSs, out GBed by 5, just missed GBs they normally don't), gonna have to sha...

ILWomen put out their freshman impact rankings, a list of the top 25 freshman in the country so far. Here's where they were in the publications recruting rankings that were released before the season. They ranked the top 50 players, then listed the next best 50 players in alphabetical order. Re: Cuse at BC, 4/18 @ 1700 hrs
I have no stinky idea how this one will go. Playing at home really doesn't mean much for BC. No advantage there. Syracuse is certainly due for a win but, I don't know if catching BC after a tough loss is best for the Orange. In any event--I'll be front and center for this one. Spidey's got his work...

Re: Games Today
Fun fact, UVA's Galica and Rachel Clark played on same high school team I remember watching a broadcast of a PIAA game (district playoffs? state playoffs?) that my nephew was calling. Stoga vs. Unionville at Stoga. Unionville with the upset. Clark, the senior, a non-factor in the game for the Pione...

Re: Spidey's Sports Book
Only a combined 17 goals for Liberty and ND? Was it the weather? A hangover? I'm a little surprised. Did not see MK Doherty’s name in the box score. Does anyone know if she’s injured? She definitely did not play. Maybe they were just holding her out for this game to rest up. Thanks! I hope that’s a...

Wow, lovin' this Hop-Md game. High octane, fast paced, runnin', runnin', runnin'!! Need a little something to mellow me out a little... oh wait, I'm good. Ball moving quickly, really nice stuff. A talented six footer from Manlius not at Cuse??? That aint right. GKs putting on an exhibition. Lotta t...

Re: Games Today
This game will come down to which offense turns the ball over less. Holy. Hopkins with a very active pick game but they are sooo packed into the 8. This may have been addressed, is Maisy Clevenger hurt? Definitely see what you're saying about packing it in the 8! And possibly on Clevenger? I'm not ...
