Lynchburg seems to have a relatively normal schedule with Salisbury and The Mustang Classic. No other ODAC school seems that ambitious. Kudos to The Hornets!!

The course at issue is a writing course for undergraduate freshmen. It is poorly titled and the syllabus makes is clear that students will be asked to "rewrite history," and "a Manifesto." IMHO is it incompatible with the mission of Washington and Lee, the University's traditions...

They are going to have students back on campus, and appear to be anticipating a large number of them back. Do not think it would be that tough for at least cross country to compete.

I should not have made my earlier post about the name issue. As a poster has since noted, this is a lax forum, and the name issue is not a topic that really belongs here.

There is an incipient Facebook movement to drop Lee from the name at W&L and a number of similar suggestions about campus life and some of the buildings. The President of W&L was on TV last week stating they are going back on time and all classes will be on campus.

More detailed plans are expected the first couple of weeks of June.

Hope that happens.....
