Re: Brown 2019

I noticed Jack Wood (Governor's, MA '19) decommitted from Brown, going to Syracuse. Too bad, would've been a nice addition at attack.

Re: Brown 2019

I was surprised as well not to see McCaleb Goss, Geppert, Grell and Aughavin all 2nd team All-Ivy. Nice to see Geppert get some recognition for a great year 1. It’s a little unbelievable that McCaleb is on track to finish his career in the top 5 all-time in Brown scoring history and he hasn’t been n...

Re: Brown 2019

Ugh, JS hope that’s not true but if it is, that’s horrible.

Re: Brown 2019

Ivyman - I'm sure he was reacting to something, both sides seemed to be getting into it a bit. Petterson/Teat (or wast that Piatelli?) have never struck me as hot heads, so I'm sure there was a catalyst. I was watching the live-stream so didn't see any of it, as it was off-camera. Regarding the game...

Re: Yale 2019

That sounds like a very interesting project calourie. I initially thought it was some type of athletic tape, but then noticed the ends sticking out.

Re: Brown 2019

bearlaxfan - I noticed the Grell invert. Seems to work well, he's a big strong kid with a wicked shot. I like to see him out front, but he's probably even scarier stepping down from a bit above GLE! :-) I always confuse Grell and Aughavin, that's a scary duo. Kniffen really stepped up as well. He's ...

Re: Yale 2019

Gaudet is a player I'd love, if he were on my side. But I'd tell him to keep his mouth shut and let his playing do the talking. I've seen Yale play in person and online many times over recent years. Gaudet has been a chirper from day one freshman year, before Ntshaykolo (?) laid him out with a wicke...

Re: Ivy League 2019

Can Opener - I like your Brown pick :-)

I wouldn't put it past Harvard either, but I'd be surprised. Agree on Yale/PU.

Re: Brown 2019

Agree, though some criticism is warranted. I'm not sure what Brown's lacrosse performance has to do with the school being overrated academically either. They're having a rough season on the field, period. It'd be worth noting that Holy Cross is a much better team than they have been in years past, e...

Re: Brown 2019

Ugliest brown lacrosse I’ve seen in a while. And what was Daly doing? Spectating? Missed calling TO at critical times a couple times unlike HC coach. Congrats To HC on breaking the streak. Goss stood on his head 2nd half.

Re: Brown 2019

That was way closer than it should've been. Like the UVA game, unforced turnovers killed Brown. I think Brown hit about 5 pipes (Harvard got 2-3 as well) too. Questionable call too giving Harvard that TO, but I wasn't in the stadium so didn't hear or have eyes on it.

Re: Brown 2019

Interesting, glad he was fighting for it. The camera was fixed on the action not the coach, so I didn't catch that. Hard to watch that happen, feels like they tried really hard to give it to UVA. They played incredibly well in some respects, but the enforced turnovers, man, that was rough.

Re: Brown 2019

Terrible, served up on a platter for UVA. Why didn't Daly call TO when Brown had ball and his Mid was about to get mauled? I was yelling TO at the TV!

Re: Brown 2019

I guess I'll start. Grell is a beast! Great shot. Glad Bruno got past Quinnipiac, but they were a weak opponent today with lots of turnovers. Good to at least blow off the cobwebs and get a convincing W. Fr. attack Cook is good. D seemed solid all around. I like the McCaleb/Newsome/Cook trio at atta...
